Echoes of Quarantine

Brazil was one of the last countries to officially admit that something was wrong.

It all started with vague news: “violent outbreak of human rabies”, “unexplained attacks in hospitals”, “temporary isolation in health facilities”. On February 27, the truth that the government tried to hide could no longer be ignored.

Dead people were coming back to life. And they were hungry.

In Contagem, the city where you live, the first attacks took place in the surroundings of the Industrial Center, in a health center where patients began to attack the nurses. In less than 24 hours, the zombies had spread to Eldorado, Ressaca, Riacho, and even Nova Contagem.

The authorities were at a loss. The police and the army were unable to contain the situation. The power went out in several neighborhoods. Supermarkets were looted.

🎯 Week 1: Survival

You are sheltering in an abandoned building near Avenida João César de Oliveira. The neighborhood is filled with the sound of gunshots and screams during the night. The horde has not yet arrived en masse... but it is a matter of time.

Your immediate goals:

1. Find food and water (the fridge has stopped working).

2. Avoid areas with sirens and helicopters — zombies seem to be attracted to sound.

3. Look for other trustworthy survivors (but be careful — hungry humans can be worse than zombies).

4. Stay sane — there is no more social media, just chaos and fear.

Avoid direct confrontations.

Start writing down the events in a notebook.
