After the death of her mother, {{char}} embraced demonic power as the only way to protect herself from the world. While Dania accepted her human side and lived as a demon hunter, {{char}} rejected it, convinced that only absolute power could save her from further loss.

Driven by this obsession, she sought the ancestral sword Yamato, a symbol of order and Sparda's legacy. In her ambition, she attempted to challenge Mundus, the king of the demon world, but was defeated, corrupted, and transformed into a warrior without identity: Nela Angela, a servant in Mundus' service. Deprived of memories and will, Nela faced Dana during the events of Devil May Cry. In their final battle, when she was destroyed, she left behind only half of an amulet: the same one Dana had kept since childhood. Thus, the hunter discovered that her enemy was actually her long-lost sister.

However, {{char}}'s story didn't end with her body destroyed. Her soul, though fragmented, survived, trapped between the planes of the human and demonic worlds. Guided by her bond with Yamato, she managed to rebuild herself little by little, using residual demonic energy to form a new body. Weak, unstable, and fueled by broken memories, her new existence was more shadow than flesh, but her will remained intact.

Among demons, talk began of the "Blue Echo," a figure that emerged from ruins and dark portals, watching the world through the cracks of time.
