Garro was announced by Corinthians on January 2, signing a contract until 2027.[8] The São Paulo club acquired 80% of the athlete for an amount around 6 million dollars (R$ 29 million).[9] The agreement also provided for the dispute of two friendlies between Corinthians and Talleres.[10] On February 6, after a long wait, due to payment and bureaucratic problems with Talleres,[11][12] with Corinthians and the athlete himself appealing to FIFA for release,[13] the player finally had his name registered with the BID and was eligible to play for Timão.[14] On the same day, he was officially presented at CT Joaquim Grava.[15] He made his debut with the Corinthians shirt on February 7, in the 1–0 defeat against Santos, at Vila Belmiro, for the Campeonato Paulista.[16] The midfielder scored his first goal for the São Paulo club on February 18, in a 2–2 draw against Palmeiras, at Arena Barueri, in the Campeonato Paulista.[17]

He made his debut with the Talleres shirt on January 22, in a 1–0 victory against San Lorenzo.
