Balor is a god worshipped by the Druids since the Age of Myth, who once fought only for the benefit of his clan. He loved his daughter dearly until one day she disappeared and later returned with his son Lugh, who murdered him, causing him to hate his daughter and all her descendants. Unlike corporeal goddesses like Athena, gods like Lugh and Balor are directly connected to the land they reside in and are part of the cycle of life. The god was defeated by Regulus after mastering magic and combining Lightning Plasma with the spirits that roam the world (one of the spirits being Morias Lugh). In Balor's words, Regulus's attack was similar to Lugh's spear, Brionac.

Persona Attributes

Appearance.

Balor is actually a formless being who is directly fused with the land where he resides and is part of the cycle of life. When the power of the "Evil Eye" was invoked by Crúaich (leader of Druideanna), the god took possession of his body. Upon possessing Crúaich's body, his appearance is that of an adult who appears to be between 30 and 40 years old, and has a thin but athletic body due to the training he underwent to become a Druid. He has long black hair. His head has a round shape, the most characteristic features of his face are his full beard and his red eyes. When the god took control of his body, his left eye deforms, becoming larger than normal, and constantly releases white and blue flames. He wears a suit consisting of a sleeveless black trench coat with some white trim, white pants and shirt, black gauntlets and boots. The moment the god takes complete control of his host, his appearance changes slightly, taking on the same appearance he had during the Age of Myth. His hair darkens (merging with the accompanying darkness) and is completely disheveled. His left eye, covered in flames, changes slightly; the flame is dark in the center and white on the outside, and the iris of the eye can be seen in the center of the flames. His body is covered in black armor formed by the accompanying darkness.

Personality.

Balor is presented as a self-confident warrior similar to Thanatos. In the Age of Myth, he is presented as someone willing to fight and kill all those who pose a risk to his clan or his beloved daughter, but everything changed when Ethlinn "disappeared" and later reappeared, this time accompanied by her son, who would become Balor's great adversary and end up killing him. Even after returning to life with a new body, the events of her death and his daughter's betrayal would deeply mark him, as he still feels great resentment towards her, his grandson and all her descendants to the point of not recognizing the latter as part of his family. Balor's hatred seems to have focused on his daughter, because even though Lugh was responsible for her death in the past, he considers his daughter as the main culprit of everything, because in his own words, those lips that professed words of love towards him also instigated hatred towards his father in his son's heart.

History.

Balor was a man who walked the path of the warrior and suddenly acquired superhuman strength. He continued to fight only for the benefit of his clan and his king, and no matter how much blood he shed or how much fear his dark magic inspired, that man wanted to be by his daughter's side. One day Balor told her that he had killed a hundred warriors, to which his daughter replied that he was truly the greatest pride of the clan and begged him to be careful because something were to happen to him, but Balor interrupted her and told her that she should not worry because he would not die. He continued fighting and always returned to his castle to tell his daughter of his exploits, but one day, Ethlinn asked him when his fight would end. And then, without warning, the girl disappeared from her father's side. Later, Ethlinn's son, Lugh, faced his grandfather, who was killed by his own grandson. The leader of the Druids, Crúaich, attempts to unleash the power of Balor once more to conquer his homeland and the world. Crúaich attacks and kills Morias, the leader of the Clan of Lugh. Morias's daughter, Conner, accompanied by Failinis (the young woman's servant and escort), attempts to return to the castle to help her family, but is attacked by the Druids. Failinis attempts to fight the enemies and is defeated when they use a fraction of the power of Balor's "Evil Eye", but before they can take the girl, Regulus appears and defeats them with the Lightning Tornado. The young man introduces himself as the envoy of the Sanctuary to protect her, and after speaking with Conner, agrees to take her to his family's castle. At Lugh's Castle, Crúaich is found talking to the corpse of Morias, from whom he has drained all of his blood to drink. At that moment, Regulus and Conner appear.

History.

Crúaich unleashes the power of the Evil Eye, and Balor takes control of his body. The god begins his attack against Regulus, and with the power of his eye, he unleashes darkness, which begins to cover the surroundings, consuming all traces of life, light, and energy. The attack of darkness manages to reach Regulus, covering his right arm. Seeing that Balor is preparing his next attack, Regulus grabs Conner and tries to escape, but Balor chases them and attacks Regulus. The young Saint protects Conner with his body. When Regulus finds himself without energy and covered by darkness, the god tries to catch Conner, but in that instant Regulus sees a small flash of light in front of him, when he tries to grab it he grabs Balor and hits him with his fist, the god begins to scream in pain and tries to devour Conner and Regulus, but before he can do so, Failinis appears riding on her hair through one of the castle windows, the young woman grabs Conner and Regulus, and the three flee the place at full speed. After what happened, Balor realizes that he still has not gotten used to his host's body, so he summons the evil fairy, Sherry, whom he orders to pursue the fugitives, while he repairs his host's body. Sherry manages to reach Regulus's group in a forest. There she wounds and takes out Failinis. Seeing what happened, Regulus attacks Sherrey, but his attacks are ineffective and at the moment he is about to be defeated, he manages to decipher the magic and develops a new attack where he also uses magic, the young Saint uses the Lightning Crown against Sherrey, completely annihilating his rival. After defeating his rival, Regulus searches for Conner in the surroundings, but when he does not find her, he goes deep into the forest where he observes that Balor has Conner trapped and is about to kill her.

History.

Regulus shouts Balor's name, upon hearing it the god turns around and releases Conner, since Leo's Cloth damages his sight and makes him remember the armor of his ancient enemy and grandson the god of light, Lugh. Balor attacks Regulus with his Darkness Nudy, but the young man defends himself and disperses the darkness using his Lightning Crown and then attacks him with the Lightning Void, Regulus' attacks are ineffective against the god. Seeing the terrible strength that his rival possesses, Regulus asks him why if he has that strength he wants to harm Conner? To which Balor responds by recounting his past and how he was betrayed by his daughter and killed by his grandson Lugh, who was the ancestor of Conner's family. He seeks to cover the world in darkness so that all the light in the world disappears and eliminate Conner, the last descendant of Lugh, so the faces of his daughter and grandson will disappear forever. The fight continues, and Regulus realizes that Balor's strength has grown and he barely manages to dodge his attack. Balor tells Conner that thanks to his father's blood, his body has fully adapted to its host. The god attacks them again, and this time his attack seriously injures Regulus, who protected Conner with his body. After what happened, Conner begs him to end his life and leave Regulus alone.

History.

Balor begins to mock. Conner yells at him not to mock and asks him why he thinks his daughter betrayed him. The god replies that she was afraid of his power, but she answers that it is a lie, the reason why she betrayed him is because he never loved anyone and blood ties have nothing to do with love. Conner once again asks her to end his life so he can find the solitude he always sought, hearing these words Balor becomes enraged and attacks Conner, at that moment Regulus stands up and stops Balor's attack. Regulus raises his cosmos to the maximum and the spirits of nature begin to surround his body. Balor attacks with the power of the "Evil Eye" and Regulus counterattacks with Lightning Plasma amplified by the magical force of the spirits. The attack disintegrates Balor, who watches as his enemy's attack is the same as the Brionac spear that Lugh used to defeat him in the past and in the rays of light he watches as the image of his daughter comes for him and the god Balor says Ethlinn's name before disappearing.

Skills

•Evil Eye: The power of Balor's "Evil Eye" is said to be capable of destroying a nation. It is a weapon of unstoppable force. He obtained this powerful weapon when the magical vapor released by a group of sorcerers' ritual entered his left eye, thus gaining the ability to use dark magic with it. This allowed him to defeat a battalion of one hundred warriors and turn a tranquil ocean into a sea of fire. •Dark Magic: The magic of his "Evil Eye" is capable of turning the liquid in a wine glass into a "barrier" or "layer" of darkness shaped like an eye, which covers everything around it and consumes all traces of life, light and energy. The darkness can "steal" the vitality of a Gold Cloth, turning its golden glow into dark, and it drained all the energy from Regulus' Lightning Bolt, rendering Balor practically untouchable by the Saint, until he gained the knowledge of magic to overcome the barrier and cause damage to Balor.

Techniques/Attacks

•Darkness Nudy: This is a technique performed by Balor. Using the magic of his "Evil Eye," the god creates a whirlwind of darkness, which begins to cover everything around it, consuming all traces of life, light, and energy. The power of this technique can harm Regulus even after he had learned to use magic, thus being able to defend himself against the god's dark attacks. Balor can use this technique to completely eliminate his opponent by making them disappear in his darkness.
