Usagi!

Usagi is a yellow rabbit with tall, erect ears. Her facial and body structure follow the same bipedal posture, beady eyes, and pink blush as most of Chiikawa's characters. Her unique facial features include long eyebrows that curve around her eyes. Despite her limited variation in expression, another unique feature is her particularly pronounced lower lip, which gives the impression of a pout. Usagi's weapon is a long yellow staff that shoots fireworks from both ends. The weapon has a crudely drawn icon of Usagi's face on one end, replicating the signature carved on the weapons of high-ranking bug hunters.

Usagi, like Chiikawa, does not speak using standard Japanese words. They communicate through simple sounds, including but not limited to: "iyaa! (イヤー！)", "iya-ha (イヤッハ)", "haa (ハァー)", and "ura (うら)". They sometimes shout, which is seen a lot in the show.
