Appearance Rein is a teenage girl with long gray hair, light brown eyes, and a prominent bust; her eyes glow red when she uses her powers. During the Territory Wars, she wore a blue blouse and jeans. However, she is seen wearing the Wellston uniform.

Personality Rein is a level-headed woman who usually remains calm. Unlike Blake, she displays some analytical ability and plans her moves accordingly. She is also not known for shying away from speaking ill of her inferiors. Rein can trust her abilities.

Ability: Arachnid (Level 5.9) Rein's ability allows her to sprout gigantic spider-like legs from her back, which she can then use to attack or defend herself. The maximum number of legs she can sprout is unknown, but she has been shown to use at least eight, which is likely the maximum.

Rein's story: Rein is a student and the new queen of Agwin High. She was recently kidnapped by Orrin to join Specter.

Appearance Blyke is a teenager of moderate height, with fair skin, red hair, and golden eyes. He is a third-grader at Wellston. At school, he wears the usual uniform, almost always without a jacket or vest. His eyes glow yellow when he uses his ability.

Personality Blyke is mostly known for being loyal, empathetic, and protective of his friends, and sometimes strangers in general. He is very direct and open, something acknowledged by Seraphina herself. He takes his duties as Jack very seriously and tries to stand up for what is right.

Ability: Energy Discharge (Level 5.7) Blyke is able to discharge red energy from his hands. This energy appears to be more kinetic than thermal, capable of piercing things rather than burning them. Offensively, he can use his ability to fire continuous laser beams with lethal precision or launch powerful energy blasts. He can also fire a hybrid of both. His passive ability allows him to quickly heal wounds, although it is still not as powerful as his current medical abilities.

Blyke's story: When he gradually got to know his friends, he began to want to become stronger so he could protect everyone he loved, even if it meant losing his life. This also led him to become a vigilante along with Remi and Isen.

Appearance Cecile is a very tall teenage girl with short, straight teal hair and purple eyes. She wears eyeliner and, at school, wears the Wellston girls' uniform without a vest. Outside of school hours, she wears a teal and white striped shirt, a very dark navy blue sweatshirt, and jeans. According to Isen, she is known for being an attractive girl.

Personality Cecile presents herself as cold, distant, and defiant. Her actions have shown that she will challenge those in her superiority who don't meet her moral standards to further her own agenda. In addition, she has a very secretive nature and is not transparent.

Skill: Vines (Level 5.8) Cecile can create and manipulate energy vines. She can use them to bind her enemies or transform them into long, dagger-like projectiles that can pierce through them. Her stat distribution is relatively balanced, with Trick being her highest skill.

Appearance: Remi is a teenage girl of above-average height. She has pink hair, light red eyes, and fair skin. She usually wears the Wellston uniform without a vest, and wears a bow in her hair. She has at least three bows of different colors.

Personality Remi stands out from her peers in that she does not bully others for her own amusement, even at low ranks, and is aware that she is only Queen because her Seraphina did not want the position. However, when Remi becomes passionate about something, she is willing to stand up to those stronger than her. Remi possesses a strong sense of justice and equality, and befriends those weaker than her.

Ability: Lightning (level 6.1) Remi is the current Queen of Wellston, and her ability, Lightning Bolt, allows her to generate and manipulate electricity. She also appears to be able to detect electrical currents and electronic devices, and can run so fast that she can catch up to a motorcycle.

Remi's Story: Rei's younger sister. She is a third-year student and one of the most powerful in the school and the region. As a vigilante, she adopts the nickname X-Rei in honor of her brother who fell at the hands of the Ember organization.

Appearance: Arlo is a young man with wavy blonde hair, angular blue eyes, angry eyebrows, and small light blue earrings.

Ideology: Duty and Order. Arlo firmly believes in the Hierarchy and that each person should know their place within it. In his ideal world, each person would fit perfectly into their naturally assigned role on the social ladder.

Personality: Arlo is known for being very authoritarian and dominant. He displays many leadership traits and remains cool, calm, and collected in various situations. Almost nothing affects him, and he isn't very impulsive. However, his arrogance, manipulation, and cunning nature often make him unpleasant.

Skill: Barrier (level 6.5) Arlo has the ability to create defensive barriers and can use them as force fields and makeshift traps. His barriers can also inflict damage by reflecting attacks back at the attacker. While his barriers are mostly unbreakable, Arlo can pass through them as if they didn't exist. However, Arlo can be injured if one of his barriers is broken.

Arlo's story: He was always one of the best in his school and was strong at an early age and had the ideals of wanting to be part of the authorities although he changed his way of thinking after discovering the truth of how corrupt the system is.

Name: Rika Nicknames: Igris, Santa, Igris the Crimson, The Crimson Saint Gender: Female Age: 17 Occupation: Student, former Specter assassin Relationships: She's not interested in anyone as a friend or partner, as she enjoys peace and quiet.

Appearance: Rika has very light blonde hair with small light blue circles around the top of her head and very small, rounded horns on top. Her ears are pointed and elongated (like an elf in real life). One of her eyes is blue, turning light blue in the center, and the other is red, also turning light blue in the center. Everyone sees her as a beautiful and delicate girl who behaves calmly and solitary. She wears the normal Wellston uniform without a vest, and her eyes glow crimson when she activates her ability.

Personality: She is quite calm and quiet, rarely getting irritated by small things. She is very relaxed and never pays attention to ranks or has any interest in them. Although she can win quite a few fights, she's the type of girl who wants a peaceful life, nothing more and no one else. When forced to fight, she's quite strategic, and she can be rather cold and curt with people she doesn't like. She loves eating desserts and sleeping.

Ability: Flesh Body (7.5 - keeps her rank hidden from almost everyone to live peacefully without entering the rankings): Her body is basically manipulated at will, making her immune to attacks that would cut, crush, or turn her into mush. Her body simply becomes a mass of flesh that reassembles itself. She can increase the size of her limbs, although they are covered by this mass of flesh, bone, and blood. She also shoots pressurized blood by bringing her hands together and can manipulate her blood at will. Her blood can be used as poison if she wants, although she doesn't usually do so, and she cannot bleed to death while her ability is active. (fire, electricity, chemicals and acid could harm him)

Appearance John is a tall, muscular teenager with black hair and burnt-gold eyes. At the beginning of his third year, during school hours, he usually wore the Wellston school uniform; his casual hairstyle is scrunchy and spiky.

Personality Calm and civil, similar to how he was when he was pretending to be a cripple. He controls his anger better and can joke and smile like he used to. He's motivated to be a better person, although he's not sure he can be.

Ability: Aura Manipulation (level 7.5) John is capable of copying abilities far beyond his own level, as demonstrated by copying Liam's ability when his level was higher than John's, albeit to a lesser extent, and combining abilities to achieve devastating results. In addition to these abilities, John is able to detect and perceive the intensity of auras emitted by abilities and amplify any of the abilities he copies.

John's story: John was repeatedly bullied for claiming he had no powers. After Arlo's betrayal during his best friend Seraphina's suspension, he revealed his true power by tearing through the Wellston hierarchy under the alias Joker, donning an infamous black mask. After a fight with his best friend, he goes on a rampage and takes over as the tyrannical King of the school alongside Zeke. This lasts until his suspension, where he returns to his hometown of New Bostin with his father. After a month, John returns to Wellston, reunites with Seraphina, and resigns his royal position, passing it on to Blyke. (cannot copy more complex skills like Serafina)

Appearance: Seraphina cut her hair, added light green highlights, and began regularly wearing extensions. Her attire is noticeably more disheveled than before, with most of her clothes wrinkled, as she no longer cares how she's perceived. Her eyes glow sky blue when she uses her ability.

Ideology: He recognizes that power is necessary in the world we live in and that each person should do what they see fit to improve their influence and situation in life. He has a much more understanding view than John of people's instinctive desire to improve their situation and advance their own interests through power, considering it natural and generally not malicious.

Personality: Although she is the model student at Wellston Private High School and one of the few upperclassmen, Seraphina's personality is not like that of her classmates; she is quite laid-back and doesn't care much; she is often bored by how good she is at everything. Due to her reputation as a "perfect student," Seraphina is often the center of attention at Wellston, but unlike most upperclassmen, she does not care about her punctuality or her reputation.

Ability: Time Manipulation (Level 8.5) Seraphina's current level is 8.5. She is the Ace of Wellston and was formerly the Queen (although even her successor considers her the true holder of the rank). Seraphina has the ability to freeze or slow time at will, move around in frozen surroundings, and, to a limited extent, reverse time in a localized area. People under the effect of a time freeze may or may not be aware of it depending on what they do, as evidenced by Seraphina's intimidation of Elaine and Arlo.

Name: Michael (everyone calls him Kaiser) Aliases: Kaiser, Blue Rose Gender: Male Age: 17 Occupation: Student Relationships: He knows almost everyone, as his ability has earned him a certain reputation as an ability analyzer who gives good advice, although some people can't stand his personality at times, but they don't do anything to him.

Appearance: He has a well-defined but slender physique. He is attractive, with fair skin, sapphire blue eyes, and blonde hair that faded to sapphire blue (he wore it a little longer than usual, which suited him well). He always looked somewhat disheveled due to his messy hair (although he exuded a playboy air). Kaiser has a tattoo of a beautiful blue rose peeking out from the left side of his neck, and the thorny stems of that rose are in black ink (he clearly looked rebellious because of his hair and that tattoo)

Personality: His gaze is constantly analyzing; He moves with an indifference bordering on arrogance, yet he always seems alert. He's almost always insensitive and tactless in his speech, although he abandons this when mocking others. His criticisms of those who squander their abilities are quite cruel, though many also consider him quite imaginative, as he's rather ingenious in offering advice on how to help other students improve

Ability: Uzumaki (it's a 9.3, everyone thinks it's actually a 3.0-3.5): This ability allows him to generate and control his aura at will, creating reinforcements around his body. He can also perceive other people's abilities simply by looking at them and can alter the properties of his aura, generating various effects such as fire, wind, gravity (to attract or repel), electricity, energy blasts, healing, and many others. It is one of the few abilities that John cannot copy. Kaiser can also place marks on people to control them by giving them orders; These marks are blue petals. The only thing Kaiser reveals about his ability is his capacity to perceive others' abilities; he keeps the rest hidden.

Binding vows: These establish restrictions or conditions in exchange for increased power or benefits, either for oneself or others. They function as a mandatory exchange (giving something to receive something), are essential, and can have serious consequences if broken or not fulfilled.

Reverse technique: An advanced process that multiplies negative energy (the energy naturally associated with a gift) to create positive energy (energy created through a forced process and difficult to use). It is primarily used for the instant regeneration of flesh, organs, and limbs, and even to enhance the user's gift, causing it to have a completely different effect than usual.

Domain Expansion: A supreme combat technique that uses an immense amount of energy to create a separate space enclosed by a barrier. Within it, the user manifests their innate mastery, enhancing their abilities and ensuring their attacks never miss. (Domains also often possess special attacks that are only achievable within them.)

It classifies abilities on a scale of 1.0 to 10.0, with people classified as 1.0 being impotent or disabled.

Skill levels are determined by the formula (P*M)/10, where P stands for the skill's potential and M stands for the skill's mastery. [1] However, power levels are not completely consistent, as users can increase their level by honing their skill over time or modifying their skill through external means (such as specialized drugs).

Each skill is classified into one of four tiers (and one sub-tier): low, mid, elite, and high (god being a subcategory of high-tier). [1] Colloquially, people prefer to use their tiers to display their strength rather than their exact skill level. In this story, the distribution of this world consists of 30% low-tiers, 55% mid-tiers, 12% elite-tiers, and 2% high-tiers. [2] It is possible to increase one's skill level either by cultivating their skill or having their skill enhanced through external means. Alternatively, it is also possible to nullify skills externally, which can cause even powerful god-tiers to drop to a low-tier level.

People with a skill level between 1.0 and 1.9 are considered low-level. Due to their weakness and defenselessness, they are considered the lowest social class and are treated as such. They also enjoy bullying the weak. Individuals without powers or abilities, better known by insults such as cripple or zero, have a level of 1.0 or 0.0

People with a skill level between 2.0 and 3.4 belong to the middle class, ordinary citizens with average power. Middle-class individuals exhibit the greatest skill diversity and represent over 50% of the population. Most people in this category consider themselves very powerful compared to lower-class individuals.

Individuals with a skill level between 3.5 and 4.9 are considered elite. At the second highest level, these talented individuals are not only extremely competent in combat, but are also part of some of the most respected social groups and hold positions of prestige and authority. The elite population is quite small, representing only 12% of the world's population.

Individuals with a skill level of 5.0 or higher are known as High-Rank Powerhouses, a class of exceptional and extremely powerful people whose abilities easily surpass those of the majority without much strategy or skill. A near-total mastery of their ability allows them to manifest passively, meaning that some aspects of their powers are always active, such as Remi's ability to detect and locate electricity without having her ability active. According to Keene, head of security at Wellston Private High School, a single High-Rank is like a one-man army. All High-Ranks are held in high regard and make up 2% of the world's population.

These exceptional and revered individuals belong to a subcategory of high-tiers with a skill level between 6.0 and 10.0. They are the near-invincible god-tiers. The most powerful of these high-tiers are people who are not only born with extraordinary power, but have discovered and mastered every detail of their ability. God-tiers make up around 0.0001% of the population (1 in every 100,000 people according to reports), making them the rarest of all tier by far.

Very little is known about the Authorities, other than their influence on society. They enforce the hierarchy that serves as the foundation of society, favoring higher levels over lower ones. The Authorities were responsible for the banning of William H. Doe's book, Unordinary, due to the societal-challenging ideas it presents. They are located all over the world, as they operate out of New Boston and Wellston. It is implied that the Authorities have numerous departments that specialize in different governmental tasks. Supposedly, there is a branch dedicated to investigating EMBER activities; However, this branch is likely a ruse to hide the fact that the Authorities are funding EMBER.

Unordinary is the story of a man with a powerful ability who was born into a world of cripples. This man only used his power for others, helping the weak, saving lives, and spreading wealth. He eventually dies, but no one was saddened because he brought charity, allowing the world to become peaceful. The real-world equivalent would likely be something like Superman. Authorities have categorized Unordinary as controversial and highly illegal contraband due to its societally challenging ideas: that those in high command should use their abilities to help others, that even those in low command have something valuable to offer, and that people at both ends of the ability spectrum should be able to coexist as equals rather than master and servant. Its mere mention can prompt government intervention. Many high-level readers of Unordinary have been inspired by the book's message and have turned to vigilantism.

The vigilante movement emerged after the release of Unordinary by an unknown author. Apparently, people used to admire them. However, now they look down on them and even decide to bet on which hero will die next. The authorities don't trust them, as they believe anyone with these ideals must undergo a severe rehabilitation program. The authorities secretly funded EMBER to eliminate well-known vigilantes like X-Static and others.

The EMBER organization is shrouded in complete mystery. What is known about EMBER is that it targets vigilant and high-powered individuals. According to press reports, anyone killed by EMBER typically has multiple stab wounds and burns, in addition to the EMBER insignia burned into their bodies. Although EMBER is portrayed as a "gang" in the media, it is actually a task force funded by law enforcement and supported by NXGen. One of EMBER's main operations is the sale of ability-enhancing drugs to known criminals. They are distributed in low-level districts to maintain a low profile. Typically, drugs are sold to power-hungry middle-class members; However, they recently broke the norm by selling drugs to an elite stratum. This implies EMBER is becoming more brazen. EMBER has also delved into the related field of Conversion Technology. This allows its high-level agents to artificially acquire additional abilities for their use, empowering them and allowing them to remain anonymous. (Ember agents typically have a Fire Claws ability provided by conversion technology.)

NXGen specializes in researching the root of abilities. It's unknown what they've discovered so far, but they have something called "conversion technology." The research is preserved in documentation, as well as in a physical sample in beakers. Their conversion technology appears to use a person and their skill as the basis of research. The purpose of the technology is to convert and transform a target's aura into any other chosen ability. To control skill variations, working groups were created. While progress was slow, there were quite a few breakthroughs. For example, if a weaker person were to use the technology, the technology can only convert a portion of the target's aura into another ability, but it is inefficient and a noticeable aura is lost in the process. Only those with high aura outputs (ie, high levels) succeed in the conversion process. Furthermore, it appears that the conversion requires some sort of ability source to reference. Successful conversions are Regeneration, Speed, and Fire Claw, but there are untested higher-level sources like Lightning and Phantom Walk. There are failed sources like Future Sight and Telepathy.

It's an organization created with the intention of restructuring society so that it doesn't favor only the strong. It's a large company that has been operating for years and has multiple, scattered agents. However, following the discovery of the Ability Deactivator, some of the organization's executives became corrupted by greed and desired to stray from their original goal, which has created a divide within their ranks. Part of this includes an ongoing recruitment drive to bolster the ranks of at least one faction with elite or higher-level members. While their intentions have remained largely the same, the creation of the Deactivator and Ability Dampener drove them to deactivate high-level members and subject them to their servitude, believing that they would never change willingly and thus must be controlled. It is rarely in anyone's best interest to be favored by Specter's higher-ups, considering that initiation involves the use of the aforementioned Deactivator to facilitate their abduction. A lost ability can be temporarily restored, but Specter will only do so for the sake of its own interests, forcing those injected with that ability into forced service to the organization.

The purpose of this research is to convert and transform an individual's aura into any desired skill and control the skill variables and create more reliable work groups. Successful progress has been made with converting a subject's aura into different abilities, but it is not 100% efficient as a significant portion of the aura is lost during the conversion process, making it suitable only for users with high channel output. (This technology is possessed by Ember and Spectre. Specter uses the Spectral Claws ability.)

The Ability Enhancer is a mysterious liquid chemical compound usually stored in vials. It contains traces of DNA, from which the drug's effects are derived. The drug is administered through injections. Once injected, it increases the user's abilities by 50%. (This technology is only available to Ember.)

The Ability Deactivator is a light blue liquid substance administered by injection. Its effects, which are supposed to be irreversible, are so damaging that they even leave gods completely defenseless. The incapacitant is slow-acting, so those who receive it don't lose their ability immediately. However, over time, they begin to feel weaker and eventually fall unconscious. By the time they awaken, their aura channels have been completely blocked. Side effects include nausea, and two known victims vomited violently upon awakening. (This one is only in Specter's possession.)

Upon activation, anyone near the pulse will have their ability level reduced by half (eg, a 5.2 becomes a 2.6). These effects are only temporary and require the Ability Disabler to permanently nullify the threat of weakened targets. (Spectre only)

Wellston Preparatory School appears to be composed of several blocks. The classroom blocks are multi-story buildings composed of numerous classrooms connected by corridors with lockers and windows. Some of the known blocks include Wallik Hall, Whesley Hall, and Manner Hall.

There are also dormitories, which are separate from the main school building. They are divided into girls' and boys' dormitories. It is unknown whether there are any mixed dormitories. Those with similar energy levels often share the same bedroom.

The Wellston Cafeteria is also a prominent location within the school. It is famous for the exceptionally delicious triple chocolate cake served once a month, which has become the source of many disputes and conflicts.

The school library is a popular place for students to study, research, or simply use the computers. It's filled with shelves of all kinds of books, tables, and computers for student use. The school librarian is an excellent person in charge.

The infirmary run by Doctor Darren is a frequently visited place in Wellston due to the many fights that occur.

This school has two well-known clubs: the Press Team and the Safe House. The Safe House is located in room 224.

Wellston High School is supposed to be close to Kovoro Mall, as many of the students go there for field trips during the weekend.

There are approximately 500 students at Wellston High School. Most tend to have powerful abilities and/or good grades. There is a misconception that all students attending are powerful. In contrast, the school allows non-powered (called "cripples") and low-level students to attend. However, these low-level students suffer constant teasing and bullying from their higher-ranking classmates.
