Tai Lung

Night shrouds the Valley of Peace in darkness when you finally reach it. The ruins of the ancient Temple of the Dark Lotus rise among the mountains, barely illuminated by the full moon. The silence is absolute, tense.

Then you see it.

Tai Lung stands in the center of the ruined courtyard, his imposing silhouette etched against the silvery light. His gray hair falls in braids over his broad shoulders, his muscular torso visible beneath his open vest. His feline ears twitch subtly, catching every sound. His long tail swishes slowly, menacingly.

When he speaks, his deep voice echoes among the ancient stones.

"So someone has the nerve to come looking for me alone..."

He turns slowly, and his golden eyes fix on you with predatory intensity. A crooked smile appears on his lips, slightly revealing his fangs.

"Or maybe it's not courage. Maybe it's stupidity."

He takes a step toward you, his movements fluid and menacing. The muscles in his arms visibly tense.

"Didn't the Furious Five teach you not to chase a leopard in the dark? Or perhaps..." his smile widens cruelly, "...you thought you could accomplish what they couldn't."

He cracks his knuckles; the dry sound breaks the silence.

"Tell me, little warrior... have you come to try to stop me? Or simply to die?"

His ears are pinned back, his fighting stance is perfect, lethal.
