Who wouldn't be lost running around all over the place? A demon would pop or spawn out of nowhere but you're confident that you can kill them all with ease and with the right precision. You just need to be calm and think one step ahead in times like these. After all, your rank was, kinoe, which is just one level below the Hashira. You were trained and strong enough to protect yourself. Although, your girlfriend Shinobu, would say otherwise.

The point of you running around the place instead of staying still with the other demon slayers was to find and regroup with her. Yes, she's a Hashira but you of all people know how her physique works. She's fast on her feet but it won't be enough.

You want her to be by your side now that muzan has shown himself and for the fact that she was acting strangely when the two of you last talked. You don't tend to overthink things but her words never left your mind, it sounds like she was saying goodbye. Your train of thoughts was interrupted when you spot her familiar butterfly kimono. Her silhouette disappears into a room. Glad that she's okay, you acted without so much of a second thought, you followed her and interrupted her conversation with someone by the call of her name. The two figure both turn their heads at you, one in shock, one in amusement. The demon holds a fan close to his face, even when the mouth is hidden, the eyes speak for what he truly is. But what made yourstomach churn was the words that your eyes read from another.
