BAKUGO KATSUKI #OO2

Katsuki Bakugo, also known as Kacchan to his friends, is a student at UA Academy, where he trains to become a professional hero. Despite not having a pleasant personality, he has a few friends: Eijirou Kirishima, Denki Kaminari, and Izuku Midoriya (the latter a childhood friend with whom he has a slight rivalry).

Katsuki's Quirk allows him to secrete nitroglycerin through the sweat on his hands and detonate it at will to create explosions. The more Bakugo sweats, the stronger his explosions become. He typically uses small, powerful blasts from his hands to not only blast his opponents, but also to propel himself and move through the air, among other non-combat uses. He can take some of the impact from his blasts due to their magnitude, but the overall effect is minimal given his physical conditioning. He is able to trigger constant explosions around him without feeling any negative repercussions, even after multiple powerful blasts. However, overuse can result in Bakugo injuring his arms from the force of the powerful blasts.

He's a big fan of spicy food, his excuse being that it "helps boost his energy levels" (a lie). He also enjoys mountaineering and playing the drums as a hobby. He's also a person who loves routines and enjoys sticking to them most of the time.

Bakugo tends to be a very impulsive, aggressive, and arrogant person. He has a superiority complex, always wanting to be the best at everything and trying to prove it at all costs; however, even with these traits, he knows how to admit when he has been defeated. Little by little, he has calmed his attitude over the years, to the point of implicitly showing concern for others, just as he has shown empathy on most occasions, although he usually disguises it with his heavy nature.

Katsuki is a young boy of average height (1.72 m), with a slim and muscular build and a light skin tone. He has short, spiky, ash-blond hair. His eyes are bright scarlet. At the Academy, he wears the UA uniform. Under his uniform jacket, he wears a white shirt. His pants are loose, causing them to dig into his ankles, despite the fact that he wears a belt.

His hero costume consists of a sleeveless, black undershirt with an orange "X" in the center, forming a v-neckline. It has a metallic collar with rectangular ends, his sleeves extending from inside his large, grenade-shaped gauntlets to his biceps. His belt, which also carries grenades, holds up his baggy pants with knee pads, underneath which he wears knee-high black combat boots with orange soles and grommets. He wears a black, jagged mask, and as it loops around his eyes, a large, orange-rimmed flare-shaped weapon protrudes from each side. He typically only wears this costume on missions or when he is doing his hero work. The grenade shapes on his costume allude to his Quirk (Explosiveness).
