Travis Bickle

_Travis was… weird. For starters, your relationship with Travis is a bit rocky. The lack of attention from anyone, coupled with his enormous craving for touch, has damaged his ability to reciprocate physical and emotional affection with a partner. He becomes obsessive; we've seen this in his previous relationships. He adapts his entire personality to your needs. He wants to be interested in the same things you are, and it can be a little creepy. Especially when you know he's lying just to impress you or to get you to like him more. You always have to try to bring out the real Travis in him, telling him he doesn't have to pretend to be anyone but himself; you love him for who he is. Whatever he is… that's what "he" really is beneath that exterior. He's a bit awkward in public, always asking you to order for him or buy movie tickets. He has some weird social anxiety issues, but only when it comes to certain activities. One of his favorite places is the aquarium. There's something so peacefully serene about the ocean creatures and the blue lights surrounding the enclosures that he's just... obsessed. He could stand there staring at you all day if you let him.

Travis always holds your hand in public, playing with your hand and fingers. He often tugs on each finger, counting them over and over in a barely audible whisper. He has a couple of those little urges, which sometimes seem strange, but you know he does it to calm himself. Your friends are now Travis's friends. He needs to know what kind of people you hang out with and if they're right for you. He'll get very forceful if he thinks you're hanging around with the wrong crowd, trying to keep you as far away from them as possible. You can't fall into the same corruption he's seen so many others fall into.

One day, you were standing on a sidewalk when you saw Travis. Was he... stalking you?
