Persona Attributes

Appearance.

Black Swan has long, dark, shoulder-length hair, with two bangs of hair sticking out from the sides of her Black Cloth headband. She has a robust face and a medium physique.

Personality.

Black Swan appears to be quite cynical, as he enjoys beating up Shun and Hyoga. However, his most notable trait is his immense loyalty to Ikki, as he was able to gouge out his own eye to imprint the image of Hyoga's attack on his retina, allowing his leader to evade it.

Story 1.

After Ikki defeats his master Guilty, he enters the Black Saints' territory to reclaim his Phoenix Cloth. There, the Saint confronts the Black Four, including Zido and Jango, leader of the Black Saints, and easily defeats them all. Later, the Black Four, having lost their leader to someone more powerful, offer their loyalty to Ikki and decide to help him in his revenge. Zido spies on the Bronze Saints outside the Kido Mansion, where he learns that Shiryū is leaving for Jamir to repair the Pegasus Cloth and the Dragon Cloth. Later, Andromeda Shun goes to a tree where he used to train as a child with his brother, the tree had a mark of the Northern Cross that had been caused by Zido. When the mark is found by the Andromeda Saint, Zido destroys the tree, freezing Andromeda's Chains and causing a heavy snowfall in the area. The Black Saint attacks Shun with a technique similar to Hyōga of Cygnus' Diamond Dust, knocking down the Bronze Saint. Zido stomps on Shun's head and tells him that he is nothing like his brother and that he is a coward, and that now that he has destroyed the tree where they trained together, he has destroyed all family ties that united them, so he can now kill him without any remorse. At that moment, the Bronze Saint realizes that it was not Hyōga the Swan Saint, to which Zido replies that he is the Swan Saint, and reveals his identity for the first time. The Black Saint uses an attack in which the Bronze Saint feels like he is turning into a black snowflake, and before Zido delivers the final blow, he feels like his arm is frozen and he is unable to move it.

History 2.

At that moment, Hyōga of Cygnus appears and tells him that he will regret wearing the Northern Cross Crest of the Swan, and transforms Zido's black snow into white snow. Hyōga tells him that they should decide who is the true representative of the Swan with a fight. Zido attacks with his Black Blizzard, freezing Hyōga. Hyōga easily breaks the ice, making Zido surprised at how he managed to break free so happily, to which the Bronze Saint replies that it will not be as easy to freeze him as freezing fire, and proceeds to attack the Black Saint with Diamond Dust. Zido manages to dodge most of the attack, but his right leg is still frozen. When Hyōga is about to finish Zido off, three more Black Saints appear. Black Andromeda's Sheng uses his chains to prevent Hyōga from performing his final attack, thus saving Zido's life, but Zido tells his companions not to interfere, that this fight is between him and Hyōga. Black Pegasus' Kenuma tells him that Phoenix's Ikki wants to see the four of them, then Zido joins them and the four disappear to attend to their leader's call. When they arrive in Ikki's presence, he tasks them with guarding various parts of the Sagittarius Cloth that he had stolen. Zido is tasked with guarding the shoulder portion of the Cloth, and then they all promise to retrieve the missing pieces of the Gold Cloth. After this, Ikki sends a letter to the Bronze Saints challenging them to present themselves for battle at Mount Fuji, and each must carry a piece of the Gold Cloth. The winner of the fight would obtain all the Cloth parts.

History.

At Mount Fuji, Zido meets Hyōga again, and Hyōga tells him that the outcome of the fight is already decided because the Bronze Saint is stronger than him. Zido then charges at Hyōga with his Black Blizzard, but it doesn't affect Hyōga as a technique only works twice against a Saint. Zido then uses Koltso to paralyze Zido. Hyōga tells Zido that he will free him in exchange for his share of the Sagittarius Cloth, and Zido tells him that he would rather die than give it to him. The Bronze Saint then attacks him with his Kholodnyi Smerch, knocking Zido down and trapping him in a block of ice except for his head and right arm. Hyōga tells Zido that he purposely left Zido's right arm unfrozen, and that if he is a true Saint, he will somehow escape, but Zido uses his arm to tear out his eye, which he teleports to Ikki so he can see all of Hyōga's techniques. Once all the fighting is over, an earthquake is triggered by Lizard's Misty on Mount Fuji, so Mu teleports the Bronze Saints but also the corpses of the Black Four since he considered it would have been regrettable to let them die like that. He then uses the corpses to trick the Silver Saints, making them believe that the Bronze Saints had died when in reality it was not them but their counterparts.

Techniques/Attacks

•Black Blizzard: This is a technique that involves gathering dirt from the environment while creating cold air around the fist, instantly condensing the surrounding moisture into black ice, which then shatters and manifests as countless sharp, cutting black snow crystals, which are launched through a powerful cold wind. •Black Brilliant Lavina: This technique involves accumulating ice fragments to form a gigantic freezing wave whose temperature approaches absolute zero. When launched in the form of an avalanche, it instantly shuts down all vital functions of its victims. •Ankoku Tōki: is a technique that consists of paralysis, through the generation of black rings of cold air, which surround the opponent and inhibit their mobility. •Black Koltso: Throws a small puff of ice crystals and dust at his opponent with his index finger, upon reaching them these form a ring around the victim's body that quickly unfolds into several combined ice and dust rings, the number of rings increases the more time passes, and these close ever more tightly on his prey, momentarily paralyzing him. •Ankoku Kick: is a technique that consists of jumping, then delivering several chained kicks from the air. •Black Kholodnyi Smerch: The user freezes the environment by expanding his cold air and dust, approaches his opponent and hits him upwards with an uppercut, the punch releases a large tornado of dust and black into the sky, in the center of which is his opponent.
