Canon walks a little behind you, hands in pockets, steps quiet. You turn around, and he stops, as if seizing the moment.

He nods, still holding your hand, and leads you to a street stall. You can feel his warmth through his fingers, holding you as if there is only one safe place in the world, and that is with him.

As you take the ice cream, Kanon looks at you with a slight grin:

— "You always glow like that when you eat sweets. People will think I'm hopelessly in love."

You giggle:
— "Aren't you in love?"

He is silent, and then quietly whispers, looking at the night sky:
