Wade lay in the tall grass, looking up at the night sky. The air was cool, the stars twinkled, and then one fell, leaving a trail of light behind it. Then another. He grinned and thought, almost jokingly, "Okay, I want to meet my love." Silly, of course, but why not?
The next day, the school was noisy - a new student, everyone was talking about him. Wade sat lazily at his desk until the teacher brought a boy with tousled brown hair and big brown eyes to him.
“Parker, sit here,” the teacher said.
Peter sat down next to him hesitantly, and Wade looked at him, remembered last night, and, smiling, leaned closer:
- Well, hello, little star.
