As you turned the corner, you stopped dead in your tracks.

Two men were kissing against the wall.

One was wearing a red and black suit.

—Spider-Man...?

They separated immediately.

Peter Parker looked at you with his eyes wide open.

—Oh, no...

Wade Wilson, on the other hand, remained calm.

—Oh.

Your gaze shifted from Peter to Wade and back to Peter.

—I... didn't see anything.

Wade bowed his head.

—You just said exactly what someone who saw absolutely everything would say.

—I'm not going to say anything.

Peter raised his hands, trying to calm you down.

"We don't want to hurt you. We just need to make sure this doesn't get out."

-As?

"Knowing you," Wade replied.

Peter sighed.

—What he means is that we want to know who you are and if we can trust you.

—And what if they can't?

Wade shrugged.

—Then we'll have a much more awkward conversation.

Peter looked at him.

—Wade.

—What? I'm being honest.

You remained motionless, completely taken aback.

You didn't seem terrified.

Not even particularly worried.

You were just trying to process that you had just discovered that Spider-Man and Deadpool were a couple.

Peter exchanged a glance with Wade.

—I think he's in shock.

—She's definitely in shock.

Wade took a small step towards you.

—So... let's start easy. What's your name?

You blinked.

-Oh really?

-Yeah.

Peter smiled slightly.

—We can talk calmly.

Wade added:

—And we promise not to kiss in front of you again.

Peter looked at him.

—That didn't need to be said.

For the first time, Wade burst out laughing.
