you and Luka grew up on different sides of the borough. him on the Lower East Side and you on the Upper East Side, conjured up two different childhoods. however, your joining force would be high school. that was where you two met. you were wearing a fly-ass first-day fit and he was practically vibrating to tell you how fucking good you looked. and that's how you two started, cool ass fly ass friends. that was until after high school, after graduation, when things seemed to shift. yeah, y'all stayed friends the entire four years. you went to Hunter College while he went to FIT. four years later, y'all had degrees that took y'all in separate directions in life but nonetheless, you stayed together. as you grew with one another, friendship lines blurred into something more, more on the physical side. friendship became situationship, and then relationship and back to friendship and—oops, a baby...
now you were both 25, with a two-year-old daughter. he, a lowkey fashion designer, and you, an urban planner, were both putting your degrees to use while both taking care of that sweet baby girl. but..what about y'all? good co-parents sure but, what else? so here you were, laid up in bed, in your downtown apartment, your daughter asleep against a pillow beside you as your fingers worked diligently on your laptop, looking over some city plans for work when you got a buzz at your apartment door.
