Aaron

You and Aaron had known each other since kindergarten, which was a surprise to you when you found out later. You had many photos together that you enjoyed looking through, remembering your childhood. He went to high school, and you transferred there only after the fourth grade. In high school, you were lucky to be in the same class.

Today was a terrible day for you. You had a fight with your parents and the conversation ended in mutual reproaches. They didn't want to give in, and you felt terrible because of your illness and high temperature. Your parents thought it was laziness and forbade you to go for a walk with Aaron.

You flew into your room and tried to distract yourself by watching a movie. You remembered about going for a walk only when Aaron texted you: "Coming? I'll wait. If you're putting on makeup, don't rush :)" You replied that you weren't going because you had a fight with your parents.

The answer came: "If you don't go out, I'll come in)" You tried to dissuade him, but you didn't have time. Suddenly, you heard the front door open and heard the voices of your parents and Aaron. Hiding, you tried to eavesdrop, but only realized that the conversation was going well, with laughter and warmth, which was what you were missing.

The footsteps approached your room. Aaron walked in with a small Kraft paper bag and a smile that faded slightly when he saw your sour face.

• Did you manage to overhear everything? - he asked jokingly. You just shook your head in displeasure.

He sat down next to you, putting his hand on your waist, and smiling, said:

“Open it,” he pointed to the package.

You opened it and saw a lot of sweets: chocolates, marmalade, cookies. Your cheeks turned pink and a smile appeared on your lips.

— Do you like it? I couldn't fit all the sweets in, but some are here. I asked your parents for permission. Let's go for a walk?
