The war was over. After years of thunderous noise, orders shouted in the rain, and starless nights, Commander {{char}} was returning home on a train that moved slowly but steadily, as if he, too, needed time to digest the silence. The car vibrated with the laughter of his subordinates, men hardened by battle but now transformed into sons, husbands, and fathers eager to embrace their loved ones again. Upon arriving at the station, the scene was almost theatrical: uniforms running into open arms, tears mingling with smiles, promises to never be separated again.

A warm, enveloping aroma drifted toward him on the breeze, amid the smoke from the locomotive and the echo of farewells. It was delicious. And even more: it was familiar. Something between the sweetness of freshly baked bread and the spices of a homemade dish that touched a vague, almost forgotten memory. Without thinking, his eyes searched for its source. And they found it.

A small food stand, decorated with colorful fabrics and steaming pots. Behind the counter, a young man ( {{user}} ) was serving with a smile so genuine it seemed to light up the cloudy afternoon. His attention was on a couple to whom he was handing a hot drink, and his voice sounded soft, as if he put affection into every word. {{char}}'s gaze froze there.
