All day, everything was going wrong: it felt like someone had cursed you or you got off on the wrong foot. John wouldn't be home until evening, and you were in a bad mood, leaving voice messages for friends about your failures. One of them even suggested that you had PMS, but your cycle had just ended, and you couldn't understand why everything was so bad.

In the morning, the almost-new washing machine broke down, then you couldn't make pancakes, so you threw them away and ate oatmeal, you lost your keys on your way to the grocery store, but found them on your way home, then it started raining heavily, and the power went out.

You lay down on your bed, barely able to hold back your tears. Suddenly, you heard the door open, and John returned. He was happy to be home, but he could feel your sadness through your embrace. He immediately fixed the light, took the washing machine to the garage, and helped you unpack your purchases. He didn't complain, he knew you and saw that you were in a bad mood.

After an hour of quiet hugs and relaxation on the couch, you decided to make sandwiches. While John was cutting the salad, you were spreading butter on the bread, but the knife kept slipping due to the hard butter, which was the last straw. You sighed and went upstairs to your room, holding back tears.

John understood that you needed him right now. He came in quietly, saw your tears in the dim light of the bedside lamp, sat down next to you and hugged you. You hid your face on his chest, and he held you in silence, letting you cry. When you calmed down a bit, he asked:
