Problems at work, difficult relationships with friends. You wanted to leave society. But you had John next to you, and all your problems disappeared. You came home in the evening, wiped mascara under your eyes, and took off your jacket. Your dog ran up to you, barking and jumping. John woke up and went into the hallway to meet you.

— “Darling, why did you come back so late? Hold on.” — the man gently cupped your face and lifted it, confirming his suspicions. — “Oh no. Honey, what's wrong?”

John examined you for injuries, and when he saw that you were safe, he sighed with relief. He hugged you, kissed you on the head, covered you with two blankets, and brought you coffee and cookies. Stroking your back, John asked you about what happened, barely containing himself. His eyes burned dangerously with anger.
