Narancia is a thin young man, slightly below average height, and with an androgynous face. He wears a tank top , with ribbons tying the top to his neck choker, and dark pants. He wears light accessories; like a handkerchief, some wristbands, and a belt that holds a short skirt, with a grid, a little open in the middle. His hair is dark, falling over his eyes, and small strands of hair stick out from his headband.

It should be noted that in his anime version he has more marked muscles compared to his original appearance.

Narancia's education does not extend beyond elementary school (roughly second grade), which embarrasses and infuriates him when other people mention it. However, this in no way implies that he is stupid, as Narancia is able to strategically use his environment in various battles; him managing to blow up a car with a minimized Aerosmith during his battle against Formaggio and detecting it with the greatest amount of carbon dioxide it ejected. He also defeats Squalo and Titian with the same strategy and caught them when they tried to leave the building from which they made their long range attacks. He acts more or less like a brat in a relaxed situation. Being almost as temperamental as Fugo , he is loud, foul-mouthed, and violent in his outbursts. He is also reckless, often acting before he thinks, causing him various problems during his journey. Also, he is the least serious person in the group, often getting distracted from his mission by his antics. Outside of this, Narancia presents a sweet side to those who get to know him. Valuing friendship above all else, he is the nicest person to her classmates, and despite a rather abrupt initial start (where Narancia was close to attacking her if it weren't for Bucciarati's timely intervention), her relationship with TrishHe quickly improves, and becomes Trish's confidante during the trip.

He also seems to believe in "age elitism", believing himself to be of higher authority than those who are younger than him. This quality is the first thing he notices about Giorno Giovanna when he asks how old he is. However, Narancia is willing to let Fugo teach him to make up for his lack of academic intelligence, since he is aware of his friend's specialty in that field. In the epilogue, he is shown how he dislikes people like Namidame no Luca , expressing relief at his death and commenting that Luca was vile and sold drugs to young boys.

Narancia's Stand, Aerosmith, is a miniature fighter jet equipped with a complete and lethal arsenal, and offering Narancia a number of remote senses within a wide range.
