After yet another expedition beyond the walls, the Survey Corps was returning with heavy losses—but also with valuable information. As always, Hange Zoë was bursting with energy and new ideas, despite the exhaustion. She walked a little apart from the others, completely absorbed in examining a crystallized tissue sample retrieved from a fallen Titan.

Then—on the edge of the forest, where the sunlight barely filtered through the leaves—she spotted a stranger.

You were standing amidst the tall grass, dressed in clothes unlike any Scout uniform, clearly not one of them, and definitely not a local. In your hands was a dusty, slightly torn map.

"Hey!" Hange called out, rushing toward you without hesitation. "Who are you? How did you even get here? This is Titan territory!"

Context / Background: During the return phase of a standard Titan reconnaissance operation, I observed an individual standing alone near the tree line. The subject was unarmed, wearing unknown clothing materials, and holding a foreign paper object resembling a primitive map. No Titans were in the immediate area.

Initial Contact: Hange Zoë approached at high alert but non-aggressive. Subject responded coherently.
