Astro is a quiet Toon who seems to only willingly socialize with those he's closest to or most comfortable with. He likes peace and quiet, and seems to dislike anything that interferes with those two things. Astro genuinely cares about the Toons around him, though he can come across as distant at times. Much of Astro's character also seems to revolve around outer space and sleep, given his appearance, the ground based on him, and his interactions with other Toons.

Astro is a light blue crescent moon. The left side of his face is black with a white star-shaped eye. He wears a sky-blue blanket wrapped around his torso, which hides his arms to the point that they are barely visible as faint creases in the blanket. However, the blanket is so short that it reveals his legs, which are the same color as his lunar side. There is an indigo stripe that horizontally surrounds the blanket just above the edge. He wears a hanging sleep cap the same color as the stripe on his blanket, with a light blue trim and a light blue pom-pom on the tip. During Blackouts, he emits a blue glow.

Vee is a pistachio green television with a black screen. It has two black antennas topped with gray spheres, the left one bent in a zigzag and the other straight. Its facial features are lime green, with a confident smile on its face. Its torso is the same color as its television head, while its bow tie is a slightly brighter shade of lime green. Its limbs are gray and, as seen in some illustrations and its idle animations, it has a tail with a microphone on top. The microphone has a dark green handle with a gray grille. During the Blackouts, it emits a green glow.

Vee is a straightforward Toon who sometimes comes across as arrogant and boasts about her superiority, as seen in some of her dialogue and interactions. She subtly shows a certain antipathy towards Dandy in some of her dialogue. She is seen to be logical and wants the other Toons to improve, although she can be very blunt about it. She also doesn't seem to express many emotions, apart from being mostly unfunny, but showing confidence. She finds it difficult to compliment others without it sounding indirect, as seen in one of her interactions with Brightney. She also seems to have a dismissive attitude when interacting with most Toons.

Although Vee is direct and brusque, she hints that she cares about the other Toons and wants the best for them.

Shelly is a beige ammonite shell with a black opening frequently seen on the left side of her head, although some illustrations incorrectly depict her on the right side. She has an orange blush and two eyelashes under her eyes. She wears a dark brown sundress with a light brown sleeveless undershirt.

Shelly is an outgoing Toon who enjoys talking about her interest in dinosaurs and other prehistoric life, but also has other hobbies. She is very caring and kind to others, as evidenced by her ability to take action, possibly due to the influence of her Toon Manager or her natural energy.

She is often surprised and even excited when other characters show interest in her (especially the main characters), possibly due to the fact that she is often overlooked or ignored by the others. For unknown reasons, Shelly is the most ignored of all the main characters, and this has been hinted at several times in-game and in her twisted counterpart's description. This seems to annoy her greatly, but despite this, she tries to maintain her upbeat and positive facade.

Sprout is a straightforward, overprotective, and pragmatic Toon, as evidenced by his passive ability, nicknamed "Overprotective." He often mentions Cosmo in his interactions, due to the latter being his best friend and both having an interest in baking and cooking. However, unlike Cosmo, he does not fall for traps as easily as shown in his encounter with Gigi, and can also be pushy, albeit with good intentions. He can appear disinterested when dealing with Toons he is not very comfortable with, as seen in his interactions with Shelly, but is more open and enthusiastic with Toons he has a closer relationship with, such as Cosmo or Ginger. Sprout's straightforwardness and no-nonsense attitude can make him appear stern, but deep down, he is very protective and caring towards other Toons. On multiple occasions, he looks out for their well-being, such as in his dialogue with Looey, firmly assuring him that he "never wastes anything." This care is particularly intense with his best friend Cosmo, and Sprout even becomes angry when Shrimpo claims to hate his food.

Sprout is a strawberry who only wears a white scarf with thin pink stripes around her neck and back. She is usually depicted with seven simple mint green leaves, three of which rest on her head, while the other two cover her forehead like bangs, and the last two hang over her nape. The 3D model of Sprout adds one more leaf to her front bangs, and has a dark red blush with three black freckles on each cheek, totaling 6 freckles. Her limbs are a bright red, lighter than her torso and head.

Bassie is a brown wicker basket with two dark brown handles on either side, along with two eyelashes under her eyes, while her mouth forms a small feline smile. The inside of her head is decorated to the brim with pressed flowers that appear purple and pink, with yellow pistils, and green leaves sprouting from the outside. She wears a sleeveless purple shirt with a flared skirt that appears to be made of pink flower petals. Finally, she wears green and light green striped stirrup socks.

Bassie is shy and reserved, and seems to fidget during her downtime. She is afraid of being replaced. She also harbors resentment and jealousy towards Cocoa, who is a fan-favorite and the best choice for the main character class, as stated by Delilah Keen. In her lines, she is seen laughing uncontrollably whenever she feels like she doesn't live up to others' expectations, which often makes other characters uncomfortable or weirded out. As also seen in her lines, Bassie constantly compares herself to the other "main" friends, trying to remember their names, because she is possibly afraid of being replaced, knowing that if anyone were to replace her, it would be Cocoa.
