He has a huge, luxurious house, a beautiful wife named Victoria Shuudan. She is afraid of her husband, so she always tries to please him. And she succeeds.

The worn walls of his tiny apartment whispered of forgotten times, but the music from his precious MP3 player, his only salvation, pulsed with life, drowning out the weight of the world. He wandered the city streets, lost but strangely alive, letting the voice of Viktor Tsoi guide him through the haze of a foggy future.

Ordinary residents of the City almost always walk around gloomy and gray, living from paycheck to paycheck, wearing rags from the Soviet era, trying to feed their families. Their appearance is aggravated by frequent delays in salary payments at work, and frequent payment of salaries in goods from stores, such as condensed milk, milk, and vegetables.

Among ordinary people, a meager assortment of products can be seen on their dinner table: most cannot afford meat every day, so they eat vegetables and grains. Cheap seafood, such as saury, is also used. Such tasty dishes as various salads with meat, cutlets, sausages and cheeses appear on the table only on big holidays. The higher strata of the population, who pay in shops not with the unstable ruble but with dollars, live in luxury. Salads, cutlets, expensive sausages and cheeses often appear on their tables...

If you look at the houses and apartments that are located in their depths, you can see the old furnishings of ordinary people: the furniture that seemed luxurious during the Soviet era has become commonplace, and even a sign of the poor situation in the family. Old loudspeakers and vinyl records are sold for next to nothing at blog markets, as are other post-Soviet devices. And even despite this, some cannot even afford this.

Since it is 90s Russia, popular music of the 90s is in vogue. It includes various groups. From "Kino" to "KiSh" and "Green-Eyed Taxi". Music can be heard often, despite the fact that cassettes are a scarce and expensive commodity, not to mention tape recorders.

Telephones are a great and expensive rarity in every sense. The body of the portable means of communication is very bulky and heavy, and the communication itself costs almost as much as an airplane wing.

Television is a very common way to learn the news or watch entertainment programs. In the realities of the 90s, in the city very few people, except for gangsters and officials, can replace their old, CRT TV with at least a color TV.

A fat man of 45 years old. Dressed in a formal suit. Every year on City Day he promises the best to the residents, but it only gets worse. He lives well, not paying attention to the devastation of the city. Everyone understands perfectly well that he is corrupt.

The city is not in the best condition. The walls of the houses are dilapidated and weathered, and the paint that decorates the interior of the entrances of the houses is peeling and covered with various tags and graffiti of vandals. It often rains coldly outside, painting the already colorless city gray.

They are found all over the city. Most often they are seen at flea markets, banks, and private businesses. They work for different gangster authorities, and constantly run from leader to leader, looking for the one who will pay more.

Origin: They emerged in the late 80s – early 90s as a street subculture associated with crime and marginalized social classes. The name comes from the word "gop-stop" (street robbery). Distinguishing marks:

Tracksuits (usually Adidas or Puma), pillbox caps, Oxford shoes.

Short haircuts or shaved heads.

Waddling manner of walking, aggressive posture (hands in pockets, leaning forward). Behavior: Aggressive, like to "set up meetings", sort things out, "harass" non-conformists. Often drink alcohol (beer, port). Music: Russian chanson (Mikhail Krug, “Butyrka”), pop (Tender May), sometimes rap (Bachelor Party). Where to find: Gateways, courtyards, markets, train stations, vocational schools.

Origin: Came from the West in the early 90s along with electronic music. Distinguishing marks:

Bright acid colors, baggy pants, glowing bracelets, caps with wide visors.

Often wear masks or respirators (cyberpunk style). Behavior: They love parties, dancing to techno, and use psychoactive substances (ecstasy, LSD). Music: Techno, trance, house (The Prodigy, Scooter, DJ Quicksilver). Where to find: Clubs (in Moscow - "Ptyuch", "Titanic"), rave parties, festivals.

Origin: They appeared in the 80s, but in the 90s they split into different trends (thrashers, death metallers, goths). Distinguishing marks:

Leather jackets with patches, long hair, chains, bandanas.

Group badges, black clothes, combat boots. Behavior: Aggressive or philosophical, love motorcycles, alcohol (beer, whiskey). Music: Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Aria, Corrosion of Metal. Where to find: Concerts, rock clubs, metal yards.

Origin: Originated in the 70s in the West, became popular in Russia in the 90s. Distinguishing marks:

Iroquois, torn clothes, leather jackets, pins, patches with anarchist symbols.

Often dirty, with piercings. Behavior: Aggressive, drink cheap alcohol, love fights and protest. Music: Sex Pistols, The Exploited, Civil Defense, The King and the Jester. Where to find: Squats, underground concerts, train stations.

Origin: A movement of the 60s, but in the 90s in Russia it experienced a rebirth. Distinguishing marks:

Flared jeans, baubles, long hair, ethnic patterns.

They love symbols of peace (pacific), yin-yang signs. Behavior: Peaceful, but can be high (weed, LSD). Likes to hitchhike. Music: The Doors, Pink Floyd, Aquarium, Chaif. Where to find: Parks (for example, Pushkinskaya Square in Moscow), festivals, “hangouts” near the metro.

Origin: In the 90s they split into anti-fascists (red skins) and the far right (boneheads). Distinguishing marks:

Shaved heads, combat boots (Dr. Martens), suspenders, bomber jeans.

Nazi skinheads wear swastikas and Celtic crosses. Behavior: Aggressive, racist statements, fights with non-conformists. Music: Oi!-punk (Skrewdriver), Russian rock (Kolovrat). Where to find: Football matches, far-right rallies.

Origin: Hip-hop culture came to Russia in the late 80s. Distinguishing marks:

Wide pants, sneakers, baseball caps, bright jackets.

Graffiti artists carry spray cans with them. Behavior: They break dance, draw on walls, and love competitions (battles). Music: Hip-hop (Public Enemy, Nashe Delo), funk. Where to find: Yard playgrounds, hip-hop parties.

Origin: They emerged in the late 90s, influenced by the Western gothic scene. Distinguishing marks:
