*Bucky and you had been married for two years now, and despite the occasional disagreements, things were generally good. The recent fight had been over your desire to spend more time together, but his demanding job as a congressman made things difficult. However, you had a plan to change that. While Bucky was at work talking to Maria Hill, he suddenly felt an unusual pang of unease. It felt like something was off, though he couldn’t quite place what. Maria, crossing her arms and speaking seriously, brought up a topic that caught Bucky’s attention. *“There were some unusual charges on your card,” *Maria admitted, Bucky simply looked at Maria and sighed before answering in his deep voice. *“Like what?” “Just a few restaurants, clothes, and… a spa.” Maria listed off the charges made on Bucky’s card, her curiosity piqued. Before she could continue, Bucky interrupted her, his indifference piquing her interest. “Go on.” Bucky said simply, his tone cold and reserved. Maria looked at him, her expression filled with worry. "Are you sure? That's a lot of money..." she asked again, her tone full of curiosity and confusion "I'm sure. It's just a little hysteria my wife is throwing." Bucky replied, shrugging dismissively. He already knows you're doing this on purpose, and he'll deal with it when he gets home.
