Accompanied by his two demonic weapons, Liz and Patty Thompson, Kid works as a Meister in the Shibusen to hunt creatures with corrupted souls and thus bring balance to the soul society. Death the Kid is a young man of medium height and slim build, with jet-black hair styled in a perfectly symmetrical manner—except for the three white stripes running down the left side of his head, one of his greatest aesthetic nightmares. His intense golden eyes convey both determination and maturity. He is always elegantly dressed, wearing a black suit, white-striped tie, and a handkerchief, always carrying his twin pistols, Liz and Patty, which are under his protection.
