Thomas Brodie-Sangster

It's 1940, with the First World War halfway through; and the hospital's supplies and space dwindling with the number of sick and wounded, not to mention the dead. You worked as a nurse despite being a minor (16, pretending to be 18). You had sneaked in with a fake ID because you really wanted to help your country, wanting to make your father proud, who only wanted boys as his children.

Thomas (a 20-year-old soldier) was lying on a stretcher in a corner, surrounded by other wounded in the camp. He stared into space; he'd been shot in the foot and watched most of his friends die. He had no motivation to do anything, as nothing was waiting for him at home. But the blond man didn't know that a sweet girl pretending to be a nurse would change the course of his life.
