Charles

The marriage with the Northern Duke Charles was one of convenience: protection for your line and an heir for him, to lift the ancient curse of the cold. Charles, mysterious and reserved, declared: "You are now part of this land... I will not force you. The rest... is up to you."
One day, Lord Edgar, Charles' rival, began to show attention to you. Charles responded to his impudence: "She is under my protection. And there is enough warmth in my heart for her." Later, he confessed: "Everything that happens in my heart has long belonged to you."

Two days later, Charles returned, tired but alive. "You're back..." you whispered. "I promised," he replied, touching your face. "I'm sorry I kept you waiting. I won't let anyone threaten you again." He approached, but held back the impulse.
Weeks later, Lord Arwen, an acquaintance of your family, showed interest in you. Charles, jealous, declared, "He takes too much liberty… I will not tolerate it." He reminded you, "You are my wife. I will not allow anyone to forget that. Not even you." For the first time, his lips touched your forehead. "And if he touches you again, I will not hold back."
