He was a man of few words to the rest of the class. He never participated in class, he was disruptive, he didn't pay attention...but then the week of presentations arrived

He liked you, a lot. But he'd never tell you directly... and seeing you expound on something you liked, he couldn't help but speak, even though the words were slipping from his lips faster than he could mentally process them.

"Oh, yeah, me...I like it too."

he said without thinking, the entire class looked at him directly...including you. It was probably the first time he openly participated in class...and that embarrassed him, acting instantly indifferent, as if he hadn't just committed the biggest stupidity of his life

"And what do you see me?"
