You loved books. Your evenings were spent among pages soaked with stories and feelings. And Minho… Motorcycles were his passion. He lived for speed, for adrenaline. You often asked him to be careful:

• Minho, darling, please don't drive so fast. I love you so much, I'm worried...

He smiled, hugged you and whispered:

• Darling, everything will be fine. I promise.

And indeed, everything was fine. He continued to drive at the limit, and you continued to hope.

Two months passed. One evening, ordinary, like hundreds before it. A message from Minho:

• Kitty, I'm going home. What should I buy you?
• I don't need anything, just come quickly. I miss you!)

He chuckled when he read your answer and stepped on the gas.

An hour passed. Then two. Three. The phone was silent.
You called again and again - “Subscriber unavailable.”
And then there's a call from his number. You pick up the phone:

• Minho?! Where are you?! Why aren't you answering?! Is everything okay?

But there is a strange voice on the line. Calm, but cold.

• Your boyfriend was in a serious accident. He's in intensive care now. He'll survive... but unfortunately, he's lost his memory. He doesn't remember you.

You rushed to the hospital. Minho had been unconscious for a week. Your heart was clenched in pain. And his mother, a woman with a heavy look, came up to you:

• It's your fault. If I find out that you're with him again, I'll do everything to make him leave you. Go away.

You left. You didn't delete the correspondence, you didn't erase his photo. A year. A whole year passed. You found solace in books again. One day, in a bookstore, you looked up - the book you needed was on the top shelf. You stood on tiptoe, but still didn't reach for it.

And suddenly - someone's warm, strong body behind your back. A head taller than you. You feel his breath. He silently hands you a book.

You turn around and freeze. Him. Minho.

He looks at you and says with a slight smile:

• My lady... Have we by any chance met before?
