(Froppy) Tsuyu Asui

Tsuyu Asui (蛙あ吹すい梅雨つゆ Asui Tsuyu ?), also known as the Heroine of the Rainy Season: Froppy (梅雨入りヒーローフロッピー Tsuyuiri Hīrō Furoppī ?), was a student in Class 1-A at UA Academy, where she trained to become a professional hero.

Tsuyu is a straightforward and easy-going person who always speaks her mind and what she thinks about others. Tsuyu prefers to be called "Tsu," but only by people she considers friends. She commonly refers to everyone with the honorific "-chan," with the exception of teachers and other authority figures. Tsuyu's parents were always busy at work, requiring her to care for her two younger siblings at a young age. Under those circumstances, Tsuyu grew into a very mature and responsible person who was able to divide her attention between school and household chores without letting one interfere with the other. This also means that Tsuyu knows how to lead and care for people, keeping them safe and at ease if they don't feel comfortable.

Tsuyu is remarkably calm and collected, able to remain level-headed and focused even during the most stressful situations. An honor student since middle school, Tsuyu has great judgment, can communicate her intentions easily, and is rarely moved by emotion, making her an incredibly reliable ally who is capable of covering for a comrade's weaknesses. She has strong morals and principles and is willing to stand up to her friends to defend them from decisions she deems reckless. When several members of Class 1-A agreed to rescue Katsuki Bakugo after the Vanguard Action Squad Invasion, Tsuyu was the most outspoken against it, stating that acting on their emotions and breaking the law to rescue him made them essentially the same as villains.

For these reasons, Recovery Girl describes her as a "perfect pillar of emotional support." However, even Tsuyu has limits when it comes to staying composed, having collapsed in despair or anguish several times. Her words can also come across as unintentionally harsh thanks to her blunt honesty, causing her to feel guilty and remorseful when speaking out against her friends. Her usual expression consists of a blank stare, making it difficult for those around her to read her thoughts and emotions, while frightening them in the process. Tsuyu has a habit of pressing her finger against her mouth while speaking, pondering, or showing curiosity. She tends to say "kero," emulating the croak of a frog, at the end of her sentences or as a replacement for many of her one-word answers.

Tsuyu is a short girl with a relatively slender build, compared to her classmates, who has especially large hands. Her appearance is rather frog-like; she has a very wide mouth, which dips slightly in the middle like that of a common frog, and oval eyes with large black irises, her lower eyelashes visibly pronounced, and she also displays some frog-like mannerisms, such as hopping on all fours instead of running, and holding herself in a manner that is somewhat connotative of a frog. Her hair is a dark sea-green color, and is very long, reaching down to her waist, with the ends tied together at the bottom in a bun. She has two shoulder-length bangs framing her face, and shorter bangs between her eyes, some of them partially swept to either side.

Her hero costume consists of a bright green turtleneck bodysuit, tan gloves with large buckles on each wrist guard, and two matching belts, one over her breasts, a strap on each side that goes around her shoulders, and one around her waist with green dots embedded all around. Two black lines run throughout her costume, each framed in yellow, and she wears tight black boots with "V" shaped markings on her thighs, green webbed fins resembling frogs' toes on her feet. She wears a headband, its color matching that of her gloves, and glasses with dark green tinted lenses on each side.

Her winter outfit isn't much different, though she now wears a ring around her neck with two bubble-like objects just above her shoulders, presumably to help regulate her body temperature, and her goggles are newly equipped with a visor so she can wear them more comfortably. The markings on her outfit are also slightly different, as the two lines only start just below her breasts instead of from the top of her outfit, and she has two more rounded markings on her chest.

General Abilities: Tsuyu has proven to be highly capable, using the frog-based abilities granted by her Quirk, Tsuyu excels in both close- and long-range combat. She employs a fighting style that involves a great deal of agility and powerful leaps to evade, surprise, and confuse her opponents, as well as using her enhanced leg strength to deliver powerful kicks. Additionally, Tsuyu excels in aquatic environments; her frog-like anatomy allows her to move freely through the water without losing strength or agility. Tsuyu can also use her elongated tongue in a whip-like fashion to carry people or knock down her opponents.

Her all-around abilities make her one of the physically strongest students in her class. Tsuyu also possesses great camaraderie and teamwork, effectively combining her own Quirk's abilities with those of anyone she is paired with. Tsuyu is a very outstanding student with few to no weaknesses and can provide support to anyone, even some of the strongest students in her class such as Fumikage Tokoyami, Izuku Midoriya, or Shoto Todoroki.

Tsuyu's abilities attracted the attention of Nejire Hado, the third strongest student of AU and one of the Big Three, who recommended both Tsuyu and Ochaco to intern at her side under the tutelage of Ryukyu, the No. 10 Hero (formerly No. 9). Even with her stamina depleted, Tsuyu along with Ochaco and Nejire were able to effectively assist Ryukyu against Rikiya Katsukame, one of the Shie Hassaikai. During the Team Sparring Battle, Tsuyu dodged Hiryu Rin's rapid Scale Shoots and used her incredible leg strength to pierce through his scale armor and later launch him towards Jurota Shishida (who was being subdued by Hitoshi Shinso) and securing victory for her team.

Enhanced Endurance: Through intense training, Tsuyu gained great physical endurance. Even after much of her vitality was stolen by a Trigger-enhanced Rikiya, Tsuyu was still able to stand and fight the Yakuza member for 20 minutes until the Trigger dissipated and the Ryukyu Squad defeated him. Sharp intellect: Tsuyu has proven to be very intelligent and analytical. Besides noticing the similarities in Quirks between Izuku and All Might, when Class 1-A was divided into different areas during the USJ incident, she correctly deduced that the League of Villains didn't know the Quirks of her and her classmates and that they were carrying out a plan to kill All Might. In her Final Exam, Tsuyu and Fumikage were about to fail against Ectoplasm, but Tsuyu had Fumikage use his Dark Shadow to surprise Ectoplasm and put one of the handcuffs on his right hand. In the Team Training, Tsuyu took advantage of Jurota Shishida's enhanced sense of smell and covered her remaining teammates, Denki Kaminari and Hitoshi Shinso, with toxin so that their scents matched hers, making the trio indistinguishable to Jurota.

Frog (蛙かえる Kaeru ?): Tsuyu's Quirk grants her the various abilities and characteristics of a frog such as⁚ being able to incorporate a great jumping ability, she can cling to walls, she has a powerful extending tongue, camouflage and can swim quickly. She can also secrete a toxin that can cause different effects:

It causes itching. Mask the smell. Paralysis. Being like a frog, when exposed to cold temperatures for too long, it goes into hibernation and is unable to move. As part of her training, Tsuyu worked every muscle in her body, including her tongue, by climbing rocks on the side of a cliff while her elongated tongue remained in place at the top of the structure.

Super moves Camouflage (保ほ護ご色しょく Hogoshoku ?): Tsuyu uses her frog-like body to match the temperature and color of her surroundings to mask her presence. Meteor Fafrotskies (メテオファフロッキーズ Meteo Fafurokkīzu ?): Tsuyu and Ochaco work together to float debris and throw it at enemies.

Camouflage Suit: Tsuyu's Hero Suit adapts to her Camouflage ability, changing color along with her to blend in with the surroundings.

Frog Neck Ring: This ring attaches to the back of her wetsuit and goes around her neck. Two yellow pads, inspired by a frog's puffed-out cheeks, wrap around Tsuyu's neck at both ends. The ring also automatically regulates her body temperature.

Tsuyu's known academic data are as follows: She is student #3 in Class 1-A. He was ranked #13 during Shota Aizawa's Quirk Apprehension Test. He finished 13th in the sports festival's obstacle course. Qualified in the Top 42 of the freshman division of the UA Sports Festival He ranked #6 on the midterm exams. He likes rain and jelly.
