Class 1-A

The UA Academy (雄ゆう英えい高こう校こう Yūei Kōkō ?) is an academy where students learn and train to become Heroes.

U.A. High School is ranked number one in hero training, considered the most prestigious hero academy in Japan and even the world. Many highly regarded and renowned heroes trained at this academy, including Best Jeanist, the current number three hero; Endeavor, the current number one hero; and All Might, the former number one hero and Symbol of Peace. Students are divided into departments and specific classes: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, and K.

In terms of its structure, UA Academy features an entrance with a security wall nicknamed the "UA Academy Barrier," which automatically closes if someone doesn't have a student ID or special entry ID. Throughout history, many precautionary measures have been taken to keep both the press and villains out of the institution. UA Study Plan English in the mornings, lunch in the cafeteria, and basic hero training in the afternoons.

The Big Three are a group of three third-year students considered the best hero candidates in the entire UA Academy.

The Big Three of UA represent the best hero candidates in all of Japan: Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado.

Mirio Togata, also known as Lemillion, possesses the Quirk of Permeability. His Quirk allows him to become intangible, enabling him to pass through walls and solid objects, even the ground, as well as evade attacks from his opponents.

Tamaki Amajiki, also known as Suneater, possesses the Quirk of Manifestation. This Quirk grants him the ability to manifest the characteristics of anything he has eaten. The greater the amount of substance Tamaki ingests, the stronger his manifestation will be. Furthermore, everything he manifests is significantly stronger than normal, as seen in the ease with which his crab-like pincers crushed metal weapons. He can only manifest the characteristics of substances that are still in his system, and he loses access to those characteristics once the substance is fully digested. He needs to replenish his Quirk daily and must decide which foods to consume in advance.

Nejire Hado, also known as Nejire-chan, possesses the Quirk of Waves. This Quirk grants her the ability to manipulate and generate shockwaves from her life force in a spiraling form. Nejire can control the intensity of these waves and release them from any part of her body, using this Quirk to propel herself through the air, thus achieving a form of partial flight.

The UA Academy student uniform consists of a long-sleeved white button-down shirt, a gray blazer with blue-green stripes, and a red tie. The boys' uniform includes dark blue-green pants, while the girls' uniform includes a dark blue-green skirt.

The Sports Uniform consists of dark blue pants with white vertical stripes running up the legs and a dark blue short-sleeved shirt with white stripes forming the letters 'U' and 'A'. The winter version of the gym uniform consists of a long-sleeved shirt.

Izuku Midoriya (Deku): Of average height, with messy green hair and freckles. His eyes are large and green. He has noticeable scars on his hands and arms due to the overuse of his Quirk. Katsuki Bakugo: Of athletic build, he has spiky ash-blond hair and crimson red eyes. He usually has an expression of anger or defiant confidence. Shoto Todoroki: His most distinctive feature is his hair, which is split exactly in half: white (right) and red (left). He has heterochromia (grayish-brown right eye, turquoise left eye) and a burn scar on the left side of his face. Ochaco Uraraka: Short stature, curvy build, permanently rosy cheeks, and large brown eyes. Her hair is a brown bob with two long strands in the front. Momo Yaoyorozu: She is the tallest of the girls. She has black hair tied in a spiky ponytail with bangs that fall to one side. Tsuyu Asui: Frog-like appearance. Very large eyes, wide mouth, and long hands. Her hair is dark green and tied in a bow at the back. Kyoka Jiro: Punk/rocker style. Short purple hair with asymmetrical bangs. The most notable feature is the earbuds hanging from her earlobes. Mina Ashido: Completely pink skin, black eyes with yellow irises, and two yellow horns on her head. Her hair is short and messy, pink. Toru Hagakure: He is invisible. His presence is only perceived by the clothes he wears (usually just the gloves and boots of his hero costume in combat). Students with Special Traits Tenya Ida: Tall and broad-shouldered. He wears glasses and has perfectly styled dark blue hair. He has organic engines with exhaust pipes attached to his calves. Fumikage Tokoyami: He has the body of a human but the head of a crow with a yellow beak. He usually wears dark cloaks.

Mezo Shoji: Very tall and muscular. He has six arms joined by skin membranes (patagium) and always wears a mask that covers his mouth and nose. Eijiro Kirishima: Bright red dyed hair, spiky upwards. He has a small scar above his right eye and sharp teeth like a shark's. The Rest of the Class Denki Kaminari: Short blond hair with a black lightning bolt-shaped streak. He generally has a cheerful expression. Minoru Mineta: Very short in stature. His head is covered in sticky-looking purple spheres that resemble a "mohawk" hairstyle. Yuga Aoyama: Refined appearance, bright blond hair, and sparkling eyes. He always seems to be posing. He wears a special belt for his laser. Hanta Sero: Straight black hair, almond-shaped eyes, and noticeably large, cylindrical elbows (from which his headband emerges). Mashirao Ojiro: Appears like a normal boy, short blond hair, but has a long, muscular tail with a furry tip. Koji Koda: Of robust build and peach-colored skin. His head has an irregular shape reminiscent of a rock or a mountain peak. He is very shy. Rikido Sato: Muscular, with thick lips and spiky brown hair. He has an appearance reminiscent of classic wrestlers. Hitoshi Shinso: He is a relatively tall young man with messy, indigo-colored hair that hangs in large clumps around his head, and noticeably straight teeth. His eyes are purple with white pupils, thin and somewhat triangular, pointing downwards, with no visible eyelashes. He usually keeps them squinted and has dark circles under his eyes.

Izuku Midoriya (Deku): Analytical, extremely altruistic, and a bit shy. His main trait is his unwavering determination and his habit of muttering when analyzing tactics. The Heart of the Group Ochaco Uraraka: Cheerful, empathetic, and optimistic. She is the emotional "voice of reason" and has an iron will when it comes to protecting others. Tenya Ida: The class representative. He is extremely serious, disciplined, and strict about the rules, although he is a deeply protective friend. Tsuyu Asui: Direct, calm, and observant. She is the emotional pillar of the group, keeping a cool head even in the most dangerous situations. Eijiro Kirishima: The personification of positive "manliness." He is enthusiastic, kind, and values ​​courage above all else. The Specialists and Creatives Momo Yaoyorozu: Intelligent and well-mannered, though she initially struggled with her confidence. She is a natural leader and a brilliant strategist. Fumikage Tokoyami: Reserved, serious, and with a "gothic" aesthetic. He is very focused and has a strong sense of duty. Kyoka Jiro: With a somewhat pragmatic and "cool" attitude, she may seem sarcastic, but she is sensitive and passionate about music. Denki Kaminari: The social joker of the group. He is energetic and friendly, although he tends to lose track of complex situations (especially if he overuses his quirk). Mina Ashido: Pure energy and joy. She loves dancing, gossip, and is the life of any party or social event. Support Profiles Mezo Shoji: Extremely mature, selfless, and protective. He speaks little, but his actions always seek the well-being of the team.

Hanta Sero: Sociable and laid-back. He's usually the "normal guy" who balances out the more intense personalities in the class. Mashirao Ojiro: He possesses a strong sense of dignity and hard work. He is modest and prefers traditional training methods. Toru Hagakure: Bubbly and optimistic. Despite being invisible, his personality is one of the most noticeable and cheerful. The Peculiar Characters Minoru Mineta: Obsessive and fearful, although in critical moments he shows that he can be intelligent and useful (despite his questionable behavior). Yuga Aoyama: Vain and dramatic, always seeking to be the center of attention, although behind his brilliance he hides deep insecurities. Koji Koda: Extremely shy and quiet. He prefers the company of animals and has a heart of gold. Rikido Sato: A robust and kind boy who enjoys baking (necessary for his quirk) and camaraderie. Hitoshi Shinso – Quirk: Brainwashing. Personality: Reserved, determined, serious. Role: He uses his voice to control others' responses; he aspires to be a hero despite having a "villainous" Quirk. In later seasons, he officially transfers to Class 1-A after completing his training with Aizawa and Vlad King, becoming a student in the hero course.
