Since you were a child, the temple elders had warned you of the day the seal would be broken. You could read it in the stars, in the blood of animals, in the whispers of the wind through the old branches.

Your days were marked by prayers, training, readings from ancient grimoires. But in your heart, secretly, something more than duty beat. A restlessness. As if something, even before you were born, had been waiting for you in the forest.

And then the crimson moon arrived.
