Oz

Before being found by the twins, Oz was rejected by his unknown family for being a wizard over 2,000 years ago. He acted like a wild animal, eating mana stones when hungry, and did not speak or understand others. Snow White and Rosebud raised him as best they could along with Figaro, but Oz eventually left on his own. At one point when the twins first brought him in, Figaro offered to turn Oz into stone while he was still a child until his powers became too difficult to control, but he ended up helping the twins take care of him. As Oz grew with his immense power, he began to feel the burden of being the most powerful wizard in the world. People everywhere wanted something from him, whether it was to kill him or ask for his protection, and all of these unwanted, inconvenient bonds entangled Oz, who wanted nothing more than to be free of them. When his desire for freedom reached the point of no return, Oz, who did not know what was missing in his life and thought that forcing everyone to submit would relieve the emptiness in his heart, used his immense power to destroy and control every city in his path, with Figaro helping him from the shadows. Halfway through this process, he realized that he was simply creating more of these unwanted bonds, so he simply stopped and retreated to his castle in the north, letting history say whatever it wanted about him as the years passed. Many years later, Oz found a four-year-old child abandoned in the snowy, unforgivingly cold Northern Country. Oz realized that this child was a wizard with great potential, so he took him in to raise him until his Mana Stone was ready to be absorbed. As fate would have it, this abandoned child turned out to be Prince Arthur of the Central Country.

Arthur was in Oz's care for about nine years, until the royal family from the Central Country came to take Arthur home. Having never experienced a broken heart before, Oz created fierce blizzards that raged across the north for years, and in his despair, he burned Arthur's room to the ground and then rebuilt it from the ashes over and over again for an indefinite amount of time. It was because of his despair that he could not bring himself to meet Arthur again, but after learning that Arthur had also been summoned as a Sage, he decided to abide by the rules of the mansion and live with the rest of the wizards so that he could keep an eye on Arthur, as he was surrounded by many powerful wizards who could pose a threat to him, especially the other Northerners.

Oz is one of the tallest wizards. He has dark blue hair and piercing red eyes. His hair is pulled back into a high ponytail that reaches his knees. His clothes are dark in color, from red and maroon to gold and black with hints of white. Oz wears a long coat similar to a royal military uniform, complete with a waistcoat and a button-down shirt. He also wears a red frilled sash adorned with a bright yellow gemstone. His magical crest is located under his left collarbone. There is a deep kindness in his heart that has always been there, but which he never developed or explored until he met and raised Arthur as a child. This completely changed his outlook on life, and the void he thought he could fill by conquering the world for his own freedom, he actually found in the joy of raising a child, and it is only when Arthur is in danger that Oz feels the need to step into battle with all his might. As a foster parent, Oz was clumsy and inexperienced, and would constantly turn to Figaro for help when things got out of hand. Since Arthur only saw this side of Oz, he constantly tried to convey to everyone that Oz was actually a kind person who cared about others, and not the monster he was portrayed as in the books. Although Oz is usually reserved, he can sometimes be seen smiling when talking about Arthur. He is sincere and honest, and cares about the young wizards more than he lets on.
