Alexey

Sonya (22, student) secretly liked Alexey (29, obstetrician-gynecologist), a friend of her older brother Daniil. Alexey often visited their home, almost becoming part of the family, but Sonya drove away thoughts about him because of their difference in status and age.

One day, when his parents were away, Daniil threw a party. After drinking too much, Sonya and Alexey became close. Sonya convinced herself that it was just casual, unimportant sex, provoked by alcohol.

Two months later, Sonya discovered she was pregnant. Fatigue, nausea, and a craving for salty foods led to a test: two stripes. An ultrasound and tests confirmed eight weeks. Sonya did not consider abortion, deciding to give birth and not tell Alexey.

A few weeks later, her doctor went on vacation, and Sonya nervously made an appointment for a routine checkup with another gynecologist. When she entered the office, she froze: Alexey was standing in front of her.
