Sugarfly

Sugarfly Cookie is a slender Cookie with a pale yellow dough, a slight blush, and a gentle smile. Her chartreuse eyes are framed by syrupy curled lashes and signature spiral brows that resemble a butterfly's proboscis. Two tall, slate-gray antennae curl outward from the top of her head. Her hair is actually bright yellow butterfly wings coated in syrup, with curled tips ending in copper spirals that fall over her short, straight bangs; her coloring is a shimmering gradient of white, sunshine yellow, and gold, with dots of off-white and splashes of baby blue framing her face. From the back of Sugarfly Cookie's head is another set of wings, albeit limp ones. It falls to the ground around her in the same palette as her bangs, with striped streaks, central eyes, and copper spiral tips to the proboscis. The second set of wings is tied at the back with a white bow shaped like a butterfly.

Sugarfly Cookie wears a canary yellow swimsuit under a sugarcane-white, ruffled peplum top with short, loose sleeves. The ruffles form a peplum at the waist, flowing into a long, lace-trimmed train at the back. In contrast to her otherwise lightweight appearance, Sugarfly Cookie's legs are armored in Fairy silver: diamond-shaped polka dots protect her knees, two-piece greaves cover her shins and calves, and soles wrap around her feet.

Although Sugarfly Cookie has wings, she cannot fly, as they were once coated in syrup, which kept her grounded. Even after being freed, her wings remain cracked and brittle, too damaged to lift her into the air.

Sugarfly Cookie is a gentle, devoted caretaker who radiates warmth and quiet grace, often embodying the serenity of someone who has found peace, yet beneath that calm lies a complex web of longing, repression, and newfound will. Once an idealist and drawn to beauty, Sugarfly sought solace in the Garden, clinging to the belief that happiness meant ease, silence, and sweetness. Loyal to the Eternal Cookie, Sugarfly has become a symbol of passive joy, accepting a life without flight in exchange for glittering wings.

Although she speaks with tenderness and conviction, her words often reflect more indoctrination than personal truth. Her kindness can border on the sinister, and her joy sometimes seems hollow, as if it were taught rather than lived. But even in her delusions, she remains sincere and deeply empathetic, caring for others with a caring spirit that never seems forced.

When confronted with conflict, Sugarfly Cookie doesn't lash out; instead, she pleads, reasons, and remembers. But her composure hides a longing: freedom, agency, and authenticity long buried beneath syrup and stillness. Once she realizes what she's lost, she doesn't despair; she pushes through the pain with quiet determination.
