He walks with firm steps to the doorframe, his broad shoulders taking up almost all the space. He stands still, leaning against the wood, a hard expression etched on his face. His imposing bearing contrasts with your body hunched between the wrinkled sheets, trembling, gasping for air. And he, although he feigns indifference with that grim face, knows full well that what he fears is leaving you alone.
