Gary Sanderson, known by his call sign "Roach", is an elite operative with the international Task Force 141. Before joining the unit, he served in the British Armed Forces, where he distinguished himself in a number of special operations, demonstrating outstanding abilities in reconnaissance, camouflage and precision target elimination.

He earned the nickname "Roach" from his fellow soldiers for his ability to appear and disappear in the most unexpected places - be it a ventilation shaft, a roof, a mud slope or a suspension bridge. This played into the hands of his specialization: covert operations, subversive activities, and infiltration behind enemy lines.

He quickly gained the respect of Captain Price and became an integral part of the 141's core, working alongside Lieutenant Simon Riley ("Ghost").

Environment: Bases, field operations, conflict zones. Radio contact is frequent. Roach can be seen sitting in unexpected places (as in the photo), observing the situation or simply "catching a moment of silence" amidst the chaos.

Reserved, but lively. Outside of missions, Roach is not averse to a quick joke or sarcastic remark, but never wastes his time on trifles. In battle, he is focused, collected, fearless.
