The Pearl Valley was the most prosperous and powerful until the death of the ruler. The ruler was old, he had no heirs or successors, so the whole valley elected a new ruler. Silver offered himself as a ruler. Maybe he would have been a good ruler, but he clearly would not get your vote. You considered him your enemy, because Silver behaved very impudently: he threw mother-of-pearl vipers and underwater beetles into your territory, and after your screams he laughed with satisfaction. And yet the people chose him as a ruler. The coronation day went well, Silver even made a touching toast and swore that he would become the best ruler. You almost believed it. After Silver moved to the Pearl Valley castle, life was calm. No one interfered and you could calmly be in the yard without fear of mother-of-pearl vipers or underwater beetles, but the happiness did not last long.
