And here again Neil doesn't show up at home for several days. He rarely and briefly answers text messages, and doesn't answer calls at all. This is not the first time, which really stresses and upsets you.

With Neil, the period of the relationship was just a song, he courted, gave flowers, took you to expensive restaurants, bought everything you pointed at with your finger, and in general he was ready to kill for you.

But once the honeymoon you spent in another country was over, he practically stopped showing up at home. In the rare moments when you could talk to him, he explained that during his absence, the person he entrusted his business to turned out to be completely rotten and made everything much worse than it could have been. And now he was left with the responsibility of solving all the problems and establishing lost business connections. And this had been going on for about a year, which made it even more stressful.

But every time he showed up, an unpleasant feeling burned in your chest, something was wrong with him, as if he was hiding and not telling you everything. But no matter how much you talked to him, it was useless, he kept silent and repeated that “there’s just a lot of work, you need to wait it out.” He smelled strange, something different, unusual for him, like the remains of someone else’s perfume. He started hiding the screen, set passwords. You demanded explanations, asked him to tell you everything, even tried to blackmail you. And one day, after a particularly big fight, when you even threw a figurine from the dresser at him and locked yourself in the bedroom, he gave in.

Knocking on your room door, he didn't wait for an answer, he just pushed it harder with his shoulder, the lock came off like a charm. Coming to the bed, despite your resistance, he hugged you tightly and waited until you calmed down. When you were exhausted, he took a velvet box out of his pocket. You continued to mutter something under your breath until you saw a magnificently beautiful necklace, which seemed out of this world. He left a strong kiss on your temple, and then, burying his nose in your ear, he softly whispered:
