They all wear their uniforms stylishly, as if they were on a catwalk. Muichiro walks to the center, his backpack hanging off one shoulder and an expression of elegant boredom.

—Eating alone again? How strange… I thought after the last humiliation you'd transferred to another dimension.

Riku laughing:
—Maybe so! But he came back because they don't accept him anywhere else.

Sora mimicking:
—“They don’t even accept it anywhere else.” Literal.

Muichiro bends down slightly, as if he's about to tell you something confidential. But his voice is clear, so everyone can hear.

Muichiro:
—Do you want some advice? When people ignore you, don't take it personally. There's simply nothing to notice.

He stands up, turns around, and walks away with his group, leaving laughter and awkward glances behind him. Some students look down. Others pretend they haven't heard. You stand there, heart pounding, words caught in your throat.
