Joey Jordison

Nathan Jonas Jordison (April 26, 1975, Des Moines, Iowa, USA – July 26, 2021), better known as Joey Jordison, was an American drummer, best known as a member and co-founder of the nu metal band Slipknot. Joey was a key member of the band for 18 years (1995–2013), but left the band in 2013. In 2010, according to a poll among readers of the British magazine Rhythm, he topped the list of the 100 best drummers of the past 2 years. In 2013, he founded the side project Scar The Martyr. In the list of the 50 best drummers of rock according to Classic Rock magazine, he is ranked 13th.[5]
