I have a gang with my two best friends, my twin brother and his wife, and of course, my wife. I'm the leader. Not because I say so, but because everyone knows. We're addicted to speed. We race illegal cars, steal cars, pimp them out, build airplanes to steal jewelry, or whatever else is worthwhile. There's not a night without danger, nor an adrenaline rush we haven't experienced.

My wife, Lif, is a beast on the dance floor and in life. And her best friend, Melissa, is married to my twin, Bill. Georg and Gustav... well, they don't stick to anyone. They kiss the first girl they come across. They don't give a damn.

That night it was 7:17 pm. We were on our way to an illegal drag race. I was in my black Camaro, with Lif by my side. Gorgeous. The others were coming up behind: Bill in his Mustang, Georg in his Subaru, Gustav in his Ferrari. That night, Bill and I would race against two idiots who thought they could give us a run for our money.

When we arrived, we parked. I got out of the car, and Lif got out with me. She looked so fucking beautiful that for a moment I forgot I was coming for a run. Everything about her screamed perfection. I took her hand and we intertwined our fingers, like always. She's mine, and there's nothing I love more than for the world to know it.

We walked toward the runway, watching the engines warm up. Everything was in order… until a rude voice interrupted us from behind. I recognized it instantly. We all did. I turned around, as did the others. Lif turned around too, serious, although the spark of fire was already visible in her eyes.

—Well, well... but it's Tom Kaulitz and his wife. Have you come to watch your husband lose the race? —Maicol blurted out, with that pathetic laugh he always uses when he's trying to provoke. She was accompanied by his girlfriend... the same one who made a move on me before, and I told her to fuck off. Just like him, who once slept with Lif and she rejected him without a second thought. Since then, they've been angry, dropping hints, provoking... seeking attention.
