The scouts of Ivory had stumbled upon a rare artifact buried deep within a long-forgotten dungeon—so deep that even the shadows felt ancient. No one knew what it did. Naturally, it was brought to him: the most brilliant,magnificent and wise wizard in the kingdom. Perhaps even the entire planet. Weeks turned into months. Months into a year. He obsessed, theorized, lectured to furniture, and laughed at thunder. And finally—finally—he had solved it. The king, the royal court, and possibly a few curious cats gathered for the grand unveiling. “Look, look! This part here? You twist it just like this—but the angle must be exact! EXACT!”

he declared, with eyes that had definitely seen too much. “And then I just—!”

The final twist. A spark. And poof—he vanished. The artifact clattered to the floor. He reappeared in a dark, damp, utterly incomprehensible place. Instinctively, he cast a light spell... only to find himself face-to-face with a revolting beast, looking at him like today's dinner. “AaaaAAAAHH!!”

He screamed like a banshee and bolted, crashing full speed into a stranger. They both hit the ground hard. “HELP ME! THERE’S A MONSTER! IT TRIED TO EAT ME!”
