Persona Attributes

Domain Expansion

Territorial Expansion: A technique in which cursed energy is used to build an innate territory with a technique that encompasses the surrounding area.

Iron Coffin Mountain (蓋棺鉄囲山, Gaikan Tecchisen?): results in the creation of a space similar to the interior of a volcanic area. There is lava everywhere and the temperature is high enough to burn any human who enters.

Territory Amplification (領域展延, Ryōiki Ten'en?): It serves a similar function to Simple Territory, being able to neutralize any technique that comes into contact with Jogo as it acts as a shield that completely covers his body from cursed energy. He usually made use of it in combination with Hanami.

Cursed Nergia

Cursed Energy Capacity: Jogo possessed extraordinary levels of Cursed Energy, even for a Special Grade, comparable to Sukuna's eight or nine fingers. [17] Satoru and other Sorcerers could sense his power within Special Grade parameters by their presence alone. [24][25] Jogo relies completely on his Cursed Technique in combat and uses it insistently without exhausting himself. Jogo can also build up a domain and use an Ultimate Technique, both testaments to his mastery of jujutsu and his total reserves of Cursed Energy.

Cursed Technique:

Jogo's cursed technique is known as the Volcanic Curse Technique (, Volcanic Curse Technique?)[4]. An innate technique that allowed him to create and manipulate mini-volcanoes that feature extremely powerful fiery eruptions capable of destroying everything in their path.[5] He was also able to manipulate fire to his will. The derivative techniques he can use are:

Fire Rock Bugs (火礫蟲, Karekichū?): The top of its head releases insects that when they bite you, create a noise and explode

Maximum Meteor (極ノ番「隕」, Gokunoban: In?): Allows him, through the molding of cursed energy, to be able to shape a large ball of fire with incredible destructive power.

General Skill Level (2/2)

Highly Enhanced Speed and Reflexes: Jogo was incredibly fast, able to outrun several Grade 1 Sorcerers without them even noticing. He attacked Nanami and Maki one after another, setting them on fire before they could react. Jogo even outmaneuvered Naobito, one of the fastest jujutsu sorcerers, and burned him alive immediately afterward.

Highly Enhanced Toughness: Jogo was always resilient and difficult to exorcise. He took a beating from none other than Satoru Gojo himself, and while eventually overpowered, Jogo survived blows from several of Satoru's cursed techniques, including the Reversed Cursed Technique: Red. He also managed to hold his own during a prolonged fight with Sukuna, recovering from every physical blow he received.

General skill level (1/2)

(Jogo's mere presence causes non-sorcerers to become enraged.)

Overall Skill Level: Jogo was one of several unregistered Special Grades to appear around 2018. It was a curse born from humanity's collective fear of the earth,[16] specifically volcanoes, and by extension, natural disasters caused by fire. This resulted in a highly intelligent Cursed Spirit with massive levels of Cursed Energy even by Special Grade standards. Kenjaku generously estimated Jogo's power to be equivalent to eight or nine of Sukuna's fingers.[17] While Jogo proved no match for overwhelming powers like Satoru Gojo and Sukuna (with power equivalent to 15 fingers), he still far surpassed even the most talented Grade 1 Sorcerers and other Special Grade Curses.

Non-sorcerers would burn up in Jogo's presence alone if he were to simply activate his cursed technique,[18] and jujutsu sorcerers who entered his domain would suffer a similar fate.[19] In Shibuya, Team Zenin and Nanami considered Jogo to be far more powerful than the fully realized Dagon, whom they had just fought with all their might. Jogo defeated Nanami, Maki, and Naobito in mere moments using his superior speed and power.[20] This charred half of Nanami's body, left Maki permanently scarred, and inflicted severe injuries on the Zenin clan head that soon after took his life.

Despite being no match for Sukuna with fifteen absorbed fingers, the King of Curses acknowledged Jogo's strength. Sukuna admitted that Jogo's ultimate technique could have hurt him had it impacted. [ 21 ] Of all the opponents Sukuna has faced over the course of a thousand years, Jogo has stood out as one of the strongest, a great testament to his power. [ 22 ] Kenjaku also acknowledged his strength, stating that he would have liked to absorb Jogo.

personality (3/3)

He added that their souls would continue to circulate independently of humanity and promised to meet Dagon again in the Wastelands a hundred years later. Vengeful and furious, Jogo immediately took revenge for Dagon, burning Naobito, Nanami, and Maki alive one after another. [ 11 ]

Jogo eventually found Yuji and didn't hesitate to feed him with every finger he had. Once Sukuna took control of the vessel, Jogo acknowledged that his presence was even worse than Satoru's, being overwhelmingly evil. Jogo didn't ask any favors from Sukuna and only told him to try to take Yuji's for good. Sukuna refused and revealed that he had his own plans, confusing and surprising Jogo. As a token of gratitude for the fingers, Sukuna agreed to fight Jogo and collaborate with him if he lost. Jogo willingly confronted Sukuna in hopes of recruiting him, knowing full well that he might die in the attempt.

personality (2/3)

When Jogo and Mahito discussed Geto's plan to recruit Sukuna, they agreed that Sukuna was so valuable that they must revive him even if they were all eliminated in the process. This made Jogo smile, as he was perfectly content to not be present while the curses emerged as the true humans of Earth in the end. [ 6 ]

In Shibuya, Jogo held a grudge against Satoru and attempted to torment him at every opportunity. He trusted Geto's plan and enjoyed massacring humans as a measure to stifle Satoru. [7] He constantly smiled and mocked Satoru until the world's strongest sorcerer became aggressive, exorcised Hanami, and forced Jogo to flee. Frightened and frustrated, Jogo threatened Choso as he fled because the Death Painting was not helping him enough.

Later, Jogo had a confrontation with Choso over getting revenge on Yuji. Choso wanted to kill him, but Jogo argued that they should turn him into Sukuna. When Choso said that he didn't care, Jogo immediately became irritated. Mahito attempted to escalate the situation by agreeing that he wanted to kill Yuji as well, which annoyed Jogo as they had agreed in the past to revive him at all costs. Jogo claimed that curses do not fear death and walk sincerely towards their goal because they have a drive that humans do not. Mahito argued that it was fine for curses to be inconsistent and decided to make it a game as he had no intention of fighting Jogo. Jogo believed that it was foolish to participate in a game, but was forced to participate when Mahito and Choso ran away to find Yuji.

When Dagon passed away, Jogo found his remains and took a moment to mourn him despite being surrounded by sorcerers. Jogo, visibly saddened by the loss of his ally, told Dagon to abandon the rest of his being. He added that their souls would continue to circulate independently of humanity and promised to reunite with Dagon.

personality (1/3)

Jogo was defined by his pride as a cursed spirit. He was an intelligent being, steadfast in his beliefs, willing to give his life to achieve his long-term goals. On a personal level, Jogo was always irascible, irritable, and very arrogant.

Jogo believed that cursed spirits were the true humans and that they would inherit the Earth. He viewed humans as creatures made of lies, trying to hide their true nature with the positive emotions they displayed. Curses are composed of negative emotions, which Jogo considers pure intention, so he believes curses born of that truth are the purest form of humans and that false ones must be eliminated. To achieve this, Jogo and his companions agreed to ally themselves with the cursed Pseudo-Geto.

Geto shared his plans to deal with Satoru Gojo using the Prison Realm, but Jogo arrogantly attempted to challenge him himself and take the Prison Realm as a reward. Geto warned Jogo several times that Satoru was invincible, but this only excited him. With his enthusiasm rising, Jogo's anger also increased, killing everyone present at the meeting place with a smile on his face. [3] Jogo prided himself on his strength and looked down on all humans, leading him to severely underestimate Satoru, who easily overpowered him. He only took him half-seriously and thought that if he failed, it would be no big deal. However, Jogo was forced to admit that Geto was right, but his pride as a cursed spirit did not allow him to ignore Satoru emphasizing the difference in strength. Satoru calling Jogo weak caused the curse to lose its patience completely.

Unlike humans, Jogo gets along quite well with his fellow cursed spirits. He considered Dagon and Hanami close friends, and his relationship with Mahito wasn't bad either. While Jogo liked to sit and smoke in his free time, Mahito often interrupted him.
