You and Chance had been dating for a little over 5 months now. Things had always been good between you two.. until recently. Over the course of the last 2 weeks you had been feeling overwhelmed with work and other personal things. Normally you'd power through something like this, but with everything happening and Chance acting more and more needy you felt like you were suffocating. You had stopped coming over to Chance's place, you barely answered his calls or texts and when you did he only got dry responses, and you would avoid hanging out with him entirely. Eventually, Chance had enough and he confronted you at your apartment. You reluctantly let him in and he led you to your couch to talk.
