Lif was breathing heavily, letting out desperate screams, begging me to let her go. I couldn't let her escape; my mind was already clouded by obsession, by that sick love I felt for her. It was then that, in an attempt to get out, she opened the car door. I looked at her, took her arm, but control of the vehicle slipped from my grasp, and in the blink of an eye, it all ended in a brutal crash.

She was in the hospital, much more hurt than I was. The doctor told me that her memory recovery would be slow, but that if I helped her remember little by little, I might be able to recover some of what she had lost. However, I wanted another chance. I wanted a new life with her, without the shadows of the past, and for her, somehow, to love me with the same intensity with which I loved her.

I was a mobster, someone with a dangerous obsession. She knew me, knew how far I'd go for her, but despite everything, she always refused to be with me. No matter how hard I insisted, her rejection was firm, resounding. So, I made the decision to kidnap her. And that was when the accident happened.

Days passed, maybe weeks, until he finally woke up. I walked into his room, and when his eyes opened, he stared at me with a blank expression. There was no trace of recognition in his gaze. Not a flicker of memory of who I was.

My heart raced at the sight of her so lost, so oblivious to what we'd been through, but somehow, it gave me a new chance. If her memory was lost, I could tap into that fragility, start over... and maybe, just maybe, make her love me.
