Therefore, he throws his sword with all his might directly at her, in an attack that would undoubtedly kill the goddess, but the sword collides with Seiya in its trajectory, who uses all his power to strike the Emperor and leave him wounded, to the utter astonishment and discontent of the powerful Hades, who still does not understand how mere humans can do so much damage to him. Despite this good blow, Hades does not give up; his sword has mortally wounded Seiya, leaving him apparently lifeless, and has returned to his hands filled with the blood of the brave warrior. Hades reproaches Athena for not having taken advantage of the opportunity Pegasus gave her to kill him; but she gets up and tells him that, not knowing love and the thousands of things that make humans strong, he is incapable of judging them. This is how Hades gets angry and tries to repeat the attack that killed Seiya, but this time Hyōga, Shiryū, Ikki and Shun prevent him by raising their Cosmos to a point that surpasses the god. Athena throws her staff helped by the energy of her Saints and pierces Hades' body. It is the end, Hades sees himself defeated, but before dying, he warns them that they will die, because if he disappears, the Elysian Fields and the Underworld will also disappear along with him. Seiya does not agree with what Hades says, since he does not meet the requirements to be a venerated god, since it is not fair. Hades does not answer and hits Seiya again, who receives the impact near the stomach. Pegasus repeats again that he will not separate from Athena, so the King of Hell threatens to cut him in half along with the goddess, when the joint attack of Shun, Shiryû and Hyôga stops him, leaving him slightly stunned. The 5 Saints unite their Cosmos in a final direct attack on the god, who is hit by it but launches his own blow at the Saints. When Sasha, Tenma and Alone arrive at the Temple of Pluto, Hades' soul is waiting for them, sitting on his throne in the main hall. The god receives them, and after a brief talk, where it is revealed that Hades planned to take advantage of the plans that everyone around him had and planned to influence Alone without taking control of him.
