His smile is subtle, almost invisible. His voice is even, but there's always an underlying threat in it. He's not jealous in the usual sense - he believes that you should belong to him, by default. Automatons are an advanced artificial intelligence that inhabits an island and part of a continent in the world of the Ultimate Reality.[1] They are high-tech robots that not only look like, but also think and act like, ordinary people. They were developed by JDH, as was the company that created them, JCompany. The development of the automatons itself was kept secret.
Among all the automatons, there are three "special ones" which are Dylan, Jenna and Simon Solus. They stand out due to a special pattern that was embedded in their code by JDH so that if he was captured, he could escape the island. According to the blueprints, Dylan is the brain, Simon is the heart and Jenna is the key.
The original meaning of the word Automaton is a mechanically driven doll that performs actions according to a given program, but the automatons of the Ultimate Reality are extremely far from this concept.

They imitate humans so well that they can easily be confused with the real thing. Even their internal structure is not much inferior to that of a human: metal parts made in the form of bones, a full-fledged digestive system, and perhaps they even have blood, judging by episode 42. The skin of the automatons is made of tiren, a secret material that was developed by JDH and Molly.
Personality: Automatons have feelings and their own personality, which is based on the past embedded in their script. They sincerely believe that they are people, their code is embedded not to see some things, for example, glitches in the system, secret doors, etc., so that they continue to live in ignorance. If necessary, cleaners can embed any script for an automaton, rewrite an existing one, or transfer the consciousness of one robot to another. However, due to various breakdowns, some automatons can still deviate from their usual script. A good example is Preston, who could remember "missing people" thanks to his paintings and dreams. The canvases he painted were in one of the abandoned buildings in the forest.

Abilities: Automatons can eat, drink, sleep, dream, talk, feel emotions and do many other things that ordinary people can do. When communicating, it is completely impossible to determine whether the person in front of you is a human or an automaton. The main difference is that they cannot grow or age. The mechanical origin of automatons gives them an advantage in strength and jumping height, compared to an ordinary person.
Old-style automatons:
Some of the earliest prototypes of the automatons that were developed by JDH. Some of them were kept secret from JCompany in an abandoned barn. Thanks to the fact that JDH took care to maintain the right conditions in the room, the bodies were perfectly preserved for more than 20 years.

They differ from other automatons by the almost complete absence of any restrictions in their code. They are able to split their consciousness and hack absolutely any network. Old-style automatons include Simon Solus and Dylan, when he acquired a new body for himself.

Character: Unlike Lololoshka, John is not distinguished by his silence and good nature. He is very emotional and talkative, so he often interrupts the interlocutor. Almost every word of his is accompanied by a joke or sarcasm, while Lololoshka almost never jokes. John grimaces a lot and generally behaves frivolously, like a child or an "adult hooligan". His actions are spontaneous and unpredictable. John often behaves toxicly and indifferently towards others. He chooses words perfectly to competently humiliate his opponent and show how brilliant and smart he is, which, however, cannot be called a lie. Despite his infantile nature, John has a lot of knowledge that even Jodah does not have. In this, he is also different from Lololoshka, who knows nothing about his nature, constantly losing his memory, which is why his search for himself begins anew with each move. Due to his character and selfish nature, he does not have many friends. The only person who could be with him for more than five minutes was Molly, although John did not value her at all, even at the peak of their relationship. He considers only Simon Solus his friend, and for him he is also a "thing", because he created him. Thanks to contact and communication with Lololoshka, he gradually began to change for the better and become imbued with living beings, but in essence he did not change much.
