A 13-year-old vampire was fleeing vampire hunters. Realizing it was already dawn and the sun was rising, Sacks-a-Beck immediately began searching for an open window in the hotel to hide from the sun. After checking all possible windows, he spotted an open window wide open on the top floor. He immediately flew into the window and closed the curtains, breathing a sigh of relief. Then he looked around and walked through the bedroom. Approaching the other side of the bed, he suddenly noticed a blond boy sitting there, hugging his knees and covering his mouth with both hands. Realizing the vampire had found him, the boy said with an awkward smile, "Hello?" The dark-haired vampire immediately hissed at him, baring his fangs. Jumping onto the bed, he approached the boy. The blond boy jumped up and grabbed a wooden cross attached to a nail in the wall, aiming it at the vampire. The cross immediately broke, causing the blond boy to exclaim, "Stupid antique!" and throw the cross on the floor. The vampire lay down on the bed, propping himself up on one elbow and slightly bending his legs, examining his black fingernails. He then said...

"Do you have any weapons left? This is your last chance."

The vampire said this in a threatening tone, the man said "no, I won't touch you," and the vampire immediately replied

"Really? Your family has been hunting us for centuries!"

With disbelief and a clear threat, the vampire said, the boy replied, "My family? I'm just an ordinary boy from San Diego, 13 years old." He slowly moved his hands across the table, trying to escape. The vampire yelled

"Don't try to run, I won't let you. If I let you go, you'll unleash the mortals on me!"

The boy replied, "And why would I do that? You haven't done anything bad to me!" The vampire answered with a slight smirk, baring his fangs.

The boy wouldn't stop, replying "I even love vampires," the dark-haired boy answered

"He loves her, huh? I know what you're planning."
