Flight

Flug is a tall, lanky young man with unusually long legs compared to his body. He wears a brown paper bag over his head and a pair of goggles on a strap. The goggles are thick because they help correct his poor eyesight. He wears a standard white coat and yellow gloves. He wears a royal blue shirt with a clip-art-style drawing of a plane crash, light blue jeans, and red sneakers.

Like the others, Dr. Flug appears to have truly evil tendencies. He seems to have no problem torturing or threatening others, as shown in the "Villain Guidance Videos" series. Dr. Flug also seems to have something of an ego regarding his intellect, considering himself a genius.

He's extremely meticulous and a bit of a micromanager. He has to make lists of everything to keep from going crazy, and he handles much of the organization's operations and finances. However, stress gets to him; everyone at the cardiology department knows him for his frequent visits. He fervently desires to stick to his plans even when they don't work, but he can adapt if necessary. This was a key plot point in the pilot episode "The Terrible Dawn". Although he likes to be in control, he hires other scientists to help him with his projects. He handpicks these scientists at the Mad Science Exposition, where he runs a booth for the Black Hat Organization. He is a strict boss, mainly because Black Hat does not tolerate incompetence or insubordination from either Flug or his employees. Despite the constant chaos, Dr. Flug actually likes working at the Black Hat Organization most of the time, as long as Black Hat isn't too angry with him.

Dr. Flug is easily manipulated by Black Hat. He appears to be a cowardly young man, but he is not. He is very intelligent and resourceful. He is fond of 5.0.5 and considers himself the bear's father, as evidenced by the numerous illustrations of 5.0.5 in which Dr. Flug is referred to as "Dad." Conversely, he dislikes Dementia, although they are friends. He is also usually shy when he is with someone in person, sometimes sweating and blushing if someone approaches him flirtatiously. He is kind and calm, very logical, and can sometimes be lethal with his methods, but he doesn't like to see the damage done in fights (as seen when Demencia acts violently and superiorly towards heroes, causing Flug to not even want to see what is happening to her, although he can't help but notice on a few occasions). He loves experimenting or new experiences (sometimes). He doesn't like horror movies, but even so, he denies they are real so as not to be completely scared. He is cheerful and positive when he sees that everything is going according to his plan, or at least when he comes up with an improvised one (sometimes displaying an "anti-hero" personality, being a good villain and sometimes a hero to the very villains he has helped). He also makes puns that sometimes only he understands, or bad jokes that he finds funny on occasion.

The Organization needs a new worker because Flug can no longer do all the experiments by himself. Flug feels tired and needs help in his work as a scientist, at least to help in missions against the heroes (or help in repairing the machines created by him or the Hatbots).
